Do you ship fishing poles thru UPS? I have 3 good ones I want to list and was wondering if they penalize your for them, as they're longer than the golf clubs. Anyway great videos... Keep up the good work.
i have never shipped a fishing pole through UPS, when you list on ebay you can put in the dimensions in and it will tell you how much shipping is going to be, price goes up the longer the package, ideally you could break the fishing pole down into at least two pieces, UPS ground would likely still be the cheapest shipping option, thanks for commenting and make sure to subscribe if you have not already
@@retrothrifts I liked your video and subscribed to your channel. These fishing poles are not the break down type. They're for deep sea fishing. Thanks for your quick reply!
Found a bunch of goosebumps at goodwill today. All but 1 has tge price on the cover written in white. Has 2 other rl stine books but i only collect goosebumps
i can remember going to goodwill and the habbitat for humanity store when times were tuff. oow when we go its a bunch of crap. that doesnt stop all the local dreamers from picking thru what little they have to try and "flip" what some people NEED! and i mean look at all the views u get 😃. im still poor but i get by. without taking from others to sell donated stuff on ebay. imagine that.👍
Curious, why do you have your listings set to auction? Is that driving more (unpromoted) traffic to your listings instead of letting them languish with set prices?
ive always just set them to auction with the starting price being what I would have listed them for as the buy it now price, that way if I set the price too low it can still get bid up, I also have offers turned on so if the price is too high someone can send me an offer, if an item doesn't sell I just lower the price and relist, basically I get the best of both worlds between auction and buy it now, not sure how it affects traffic but it could drive more traffic as well
@@retrothrifts I've been on and off eBay since 1998 including 6 years grinding it full time back in the good old days - pre-2008 when auctions were still the thing. I've only had luck with auctions of hot items or items that the are too many listings of that aren't auctions (like TI calculators). I like your strategy. I''ll borrow it! :0P
