The Stuart Adamson fans Website is a tribute to one of the greatest singer songwriters to have graced the stage, our television sets and our music players.
The website is the brainchild of Gwenda Matthews who campaigned and brought the Stuart Adamson Memorial Bench to Dunfermline.
The main aim of this website is to bring together on one website information and images about the late, great Stuart Adamson, fans of Stuart can submit their own articles and images to the website using the contact page.
Have always loved Stuart as the singer in Big Country, but didnt know what kind of personality he had til seeing a glimpse of it through watching his interviews. He comes across as very genuine, down to earth and possessed a wonderful sense of humour. RIP Stuart ❤️
Wait I just saw the second comment 🥺if you wouldn't have I wouldn't have caught it so one man prays for rain one man pray for the rain to stop thanks bro It took me back and I didn't realize how big this guy was Everybody takes a piece of a video somewhere somehow something No big deal😉
Robert Burns and a nightingale rolled into a vibrant torch of hope in the 1980s and '90s. His quaint accent alone is a gift from another time when poetry mattered.
I cannot imagine, or empathize with you on what you were going through in regards to depression Stuart as i've never been down that road, however i have suffered from panic attacks (anxiety). Mental health is something that maybe back in 2000/2001 wasn't talked about much, but it's important people reach out. It can effect both men, and women, though it tends to be men that it's effecting allot more. If anyone reading this then reach out, and seek the help needed. R.I.P. Stuart Adamson, a legend of Scotland, and the world on the musical scale, and a kindhearted man.
