My happiest memories of living in MS on the beautiful gulf coast. Being with these friends and being inspired musically by some of the greatest people I have ever known. The Dock of the Bay was one of the greatest spots in the south. The food and music by Jerry’s band, Jerry Fisher and the Music Company.was fantastic. Jerry and Melva….thank you for all those wonderful times. Love and miss you 😘😘❤️🎶
I grew up in Bay St Louis and it was so great to see them live, we were in the Dock starting on Thursday night then back on Friday and Saturday and between the 1st class musicians and their choice of music then put that together with the people and the atmosphere, it was like the first time every time. You never met a stranger at Dock. I truly miss those times. My dad is 84. And I sent him a song of Jerry Fisher and the music co about 3 weeks ago and I saw him later that day and he said it kinda hurts to know you’ll never get to have that again but we were lucky enough to be the ones that got to be there. I don’t think you could find a person that feels different. What a time we had. Thanks Fish & the Music Co.
Jerry Fisher....a GREAT unheralded vocalist. I have this CD and every song is worthy to say the least. Fortunately I got to see Jerry with BS&T 4 times all those years ago. To this day I regret not making the effort to visit "The Dock of the Bay" from my area of Philadelphia. Big mistake...
OMG!!! i cant believe this is on You Tube! I live on the coast and used to go to the Dock of the Bay all the time to here them play. i had this album and it has disappeared . Thank you so much for posting this!
