Hi and welcome to Fed & Fit! Whether it’s in the kitchen or out in the world, we’re on a mission to solve life’s daily problems, so you can get on with living your fullest and healthiest life.
I’m Cassy Joy, founder and editor-in-chief of the Fed & Fit and author of the best-selling cookbook series, Cook Once.
After giving birth to our first daughter, Graysen, I realized spending HOURS in the kitchen each week was not going to cut it. I knew there had to be a way to serve up dinner that is picky eater-friendly, that doesn’t break the budget, and that doesn’t leave me feeling exhausted from the effort. So, I went to work to find a healthy solution!
I want to help you do the same! Join me every Friday as I walk through a variety of easy ways to meal prep. It’s time to take away the struggle of getting homemade dinner on the table, and instead, put the fun back in the kitchen while making dinner with your family.
Very delicious and simple recipe! My mother in law can’t eat gluten and I’m excited to give her this comfy meal. 🥘 I added some onion powered and garlic powder for a little extra flavor.
My favorite recipe for fortifying store bought chicken stock is from Chef Jean Pierre. Thank you so much for the gluten free dumplings- they turned out fantastic.
DD is the best. My manicures last over three weeks either way doing it myself or at a shop. I've never had a chip or peeling - ever. I think folks don't follow the precleaning step and that is what causes the premature chipping. I dig in the garden, house cleaning, etc. and it lasts. Love this stuff.
Dazzle Dry is the only polish system that works for me with no mess ups. I add more color and top coat half way through the week. Super quick and easy.
Dazzle dry is superior to Olive and June by all means. I did a manicure with all “quick dry” O&J products and even took my time for drying. I woke up with sheet marks on my nails! Up until that point I honestly thought that concept was lore 😂. My mind was honestly blown. Dazzle Dry is really the only product that truly meets the quick dry promise. I should have had awful nails every time I use it and inevitably whack a freshly painted nail, but no the nail was dry by that time, no mark or dent. Sure, DD is more costly but what good is a cheaper product if I can’t actually get a good outcome and want to use it?????
Please, PLEASE do NOT put your meat to defrost in with other pantry items. Cross contamination is really serious and not a joke. Your herbs and spices will mold after the dampness the fridge causes. Mold spores are another serious health hazard. Take 1 more minute, write a note of whats missing and put it in your box 😢 Kate
The technicians at the Nail Salon I used a couple of years ago went nuts over Dazzle Dry! That's all they kept talking about so I finally gave in - but I ordered a "sample" set - smaller than usual bottles of polish and I think there was another one bottle, perhaps a second one that was part of the procedure. Even small bottles and fewer of them was still a steep price so I just kept using it. Before all the product ran out, I finally paid more attention and realized my naked nails were in the worst shape they had been in many years - so I stopped using Drazzle Dry. The chemist did not produce such a wondrous product in my opinion. I would never even think f giving this brand a second chance - once bitten, twice shy! If you spring for this, watch very, very carefully!
I have good news and bad news. The bad news is, you didn't make chicken broth. The good news is, you made chicken stock. I like to freeze my leftover carcasses until I have several, then make a cauldron of chicken stock--with vegetables, too. Nice work, and I love the ideas of how to use the skin. I've always just thrown it in the stockpot.
I'm going to try this... the larger pot thing is really intriguing to me because I like to use San Remo penne pasta but the water does turn gloopy and it always makes me sad...
Wow, I love this comparison. It was so well done. I loved how you made a list on both sides of the screen, too. I just ordered some Dazzle Dry products and wanted to see a review of it. I'm so glad this came up on my screen. I really like the Olive and June like you. The bottles are very cute and love the look of them. I do feel like the advertising and hype over them really draws me in, too. I can't wait to try the dazzle dry when I receive it. I agree with the expense of the DD brand, but like you also say, if the formula is that clean and it really lasts that long then it's a great value and totally worth it in the long run.
Hi Cassy! I’ve been loving your weekly email newsletters for about a year now. Just found your RU-vid! Couldn’t get the link for the shopping list and savings tips to work. Would you mind checking and posting it again, please? Thank you so much!!
You only warm the basecoat if it gets cloudy. You use revive for polish and top coat. Top coat you roll to mix and polish you shake! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Sm-jvnQlQlw.html&si=Y21aOrJzZFeV4DNo
Typically my dog stares at me through the entire process, looking like he's never been fed, and he'll succeed in he conning me out of section 3. Thanks for this.
