Yo I’m Jae, motorcycle, car, gun outdoor enthusiast! I use this channel as a place to store all my videos of my fun adventures. So if you like watching drop a like and subscribe
I’m a pilot and a bike rider….the weather radar overlay that is integrated on your screen tells you most of what you need to know with regard to weather. We rely on it in a airplane. The colors indicate the amount of precipitation. Green is light rain yellow is heavy rain which is usually storms and red is severe storms. I try to stay out of the yellow and the red. You can use this information to decide if you are headed into or away from severe weather. This is a great feature of your bike I am not aware of any other bike that has this feature
I haven’t really used it much to be honest. But I think my year subscription is up. I’ll look into it if it isn’t. Thank you for the info. I usually just check my phone.
That’s awesome glad to hear. This is one year old now and has 7800 miles. She gets riddin hard. But haven’t had anymore liquid since I made that video. I put 2300 miles on it 2 weeks after I bought it lol
Hello Sir, I am a RU-vid Video SEO Expert, Your video looks great But I have found many problems in your channel due to which views and likes are low in your channel, I have sent an email mentioning all the problems, please see the email.
Don’t buy a Harley. They’ve gone extremely woke and are getting backlash for it. I have a 2023 Lowrider ST and it burns over a quart of oil every 1000 miles and Harley says it’s ok to burn 1 quart every 1500. My fork seal is leaking, after 6k the plugs are fouled, I have a check engine light on. I’m not making this up. It’s under warranty, but the oil consumption might not get fixed
I’ve heard they aren’t doing great! My bestfriends dad got a brand new trike, and he’s ready to trade it in for an Indian. Cause he’s had nothing but problems out of it and Harley won’t step up.
@@justjae706 I have a 2023 Lowrider ST. Beautiful bike and fun when it works. Only 9k miles and one of my fork seals are leaking, it uses more than 2 quarts of oil in less than 3k and I ride very easy and run good oil. Security light on dash is steady red indicating a light is out, all lights are working. I had to Schedule a warranty appointment on the 26th. They’re that backed up. I’m also selling mine for an Indian but waiting to see if Indian comes out with something new for next year
@@jefflpo I hate that for you man, but glad you’re buying an Indian 😂. I heard talks of them having a 112 challenger from the factory. I’m curious to see what the 25’s will be as well. They are so for an update
It’s funny cause the dealer told me the same thing about 2300 rpm is lugging the engine. Then why in the owners manual does it tell me I should be going to 6th at 50 mph which would put me at 1900. Just don’t get it
i like your review, expecially coming from someone that road sport bikes. Im thinking im going to trade in my triumph street triple in for a challenger. Always rode sport bikes but after i just got done with a 12 hour ride with friends i was in so much pain. these look so comfertable and i think im at that point where i want to ride longer distances
I ordered these 6 weeks ago and still friggin waiting! Your bike sounds killer! How’s the heat coming off them. I had a 2020 Challenger with Sawicki pipes. I loved the sound but they roast your leg and I couldn’t ride when it was above 90 degrees outside. Therefore, my new Challenger Icon is getting these S&S if they ever come in….
Thanks man! I love the sound. Heat isn’t bad at all. There is one small part on the rear pipe where it comes out the cylinder head where it doesn’t have heat shield and it gets alittle warm after awhile at a red light. But once you starting it cools back down
It needs alittle more, but mostly want tune to smooth it out and run cooler. Bikes come lean from the factory. Gas mileage depends on your right hand. My bike is strictly a tow. It’s not my commuter, I ride it for fun and to relax so I don’t really care about gas mileage, cause it doesn’t matter when you’re riding hard
BRO! HERE'S WHAT I DID. : 2 GEN-2 6-1/2" POWERBANDS, UP FRONT. + BASE BOOST..... at first I thought it sounded worse than the factory dialed, but I realized my phone settings were bad.... I got bag speakers. System sounds great... but I'm gonna get powerbands in the rear also
Oh yeah, I’ve ridden in the rain multiple times being in the south it rains all the time. I was fine with it. My dad father in law and other buddy they weren’t to found of it 😂 Appreciate it man!
Traded mine, had unresolved issues. Did a lateral trade. The Challenger is by far superior to any HD. The bike has its shortcomings though. No bike is perfect. For me, the bike was top heavy, the seating position is not ideal. I couldn’t find a decent set of handlebars or a seat. Everything is $$$. I don’t understand why bikes don’t come with adjustable seats and bars and foot rest? We’re all different.
I have a Kawasaki Vulcan s650…everything is easily adjustable. Seat/bars/pegs. I want to upgrade to a bigger bike but I love the adjustability of the smaller bike. I can literally go from full Grandpa mode to Full sport mode with 20 minutes in the garage. Including a big embarrassing windscreen changed to a sporty one
@@Vulcan650Vampire buddy of mine just picked up a vulcan 650! he said he doesn't like it. but hes looking for more of a touring style bike like the challenger.
Anyone that drives a crotch rocket I tried one last time when I was younger and her fast but I don't get into the way that they you got to bend over that's for young people once you get a little older and wiser you want a cruiser that has everything on it you want to be able to kick back on the bike and move your feet around on a footboard and different things like that everyone that knows what I'm talking about knows what I'm talking about the other people just don't know that yet but they will especially if they love to ride like I have all my life. I would never buy an Apple phone and I don't care about that but I have a Samsung and I hook it up into that right pocket on the Fairing and with a USB and it keeps my phone charged and it's Bluetooth and everything on the phone everything goes on the screen like it would on my phone but for some reason when my friend calls everything comes up his name comes up on the screen or whoever calls but they can hear me kind of but I can't hear them so what's happening is I'm doing something wrong or it's not transferring the sound through the speakers of the bike or it's not doing that because of the Apple carplay thing or something when he was talking about so if anyone has any ideas or some buttons on there for like muting and there's a couple little buttons where you could see where it has a speaker so either I'm not having one of them open or something I'm doing wrong or it's because of that Apple carplay goofiness or whatever or you have to take the phone out of the cubby hole and talk through the phone like normal and not through that speaker if that's all that's wrong with the bike no big deal I got one about a week ago and a limited it's awesome when on a long ride yesterday in Wisconsin through the back roads bike has power smooth comfortable stereo sounds good I don't have them in the bags yet but this fall I'm going to have it stored in that shop for free and they're going to upgrade the stereo and put those back in the bags and they're going to put lights on the front and on the back of the bags LEDs and that'll be good for me I don't have it on loud but I want to have it sound real good when I'm listening to it just like riding a motorcycle All My Life music and bikes are a big deal to me. It's got plenty of power took me awhile to get hang of that power in first gear I had to keep it in standard and it still has too much torque at the beginning until I got the hang of the clutch I have a Stratoliner Deluxe also my friends buying a 1900 belt driven a lot of power and torque but not like this the way it's geared or whatever. Put at the end of the day I had it down and it's fun riding it for sure it's got a lot of power you got all the goodies on it can't go wrong with that bike now if you like to ride a crotch rocket which I think are kind of dumb they don't do anything for me the way you sit on them and they're dangerous and people get stupid on them not everybody but people do now if you got the money to have that Ducati that's a badass bike and you can have a cruiser too or a tour bike you know like this one here then do it have both of them then
I have a sport bike and a bagger, I like both bikes. They are different rides. One is mean only to go fast around turns and be like a bullet in a straight line. The other is comfortable but still quick enough to have fun with. All depends on how I’m feeling on which one I ride or how far I’m going. Sport bikes aren’t for everyone, but they are no more dangerous than a bagger/cruiser. It’s all about who’s riding the bike. People get dumb on sport bikes, I’ve seen people do dumb stuff on cruisers too. It just is what it is. But you need some kind of headset for it to work on your phone. I think most people use the Otto cast for Samsung.
There are a couple RU-vid videos on Apple Car that have good instructions. PlayApple Car Play is awesome on this bike but you need the Quad Lock Adapter. Wedge it into the cubby hole sideways to keep the connection from getting loose and disconnecting. I wear a full face Shoei but with the 1/2 helmet just put the Cardo or Sena in your cubby hole. Just remember to turn it on AFTER STARTING THE BIKE AND LETTING THE PHONE CONNECT TO THE BIKE. THEN CONNECT THE Sena to the phone not the bike. I’m on my second Challenger and they are awesome!
I own a Harley and I wish it sounded that good. My brother put this exhaust on his challenger. In person it is amazing. You did a great job capturing the sound. It's more of a power sound like nascar or prostreet. Less of a traditional motorcycle sound. Definitely badass. Forget the haters.
Jae, any updates on the S&S 50 state legal exhaust? I’m curious if you’ve had any issues on the stock tune yet. Any CEL’s or codes for running too lean?
No CEL seems to be running fine, no codes Still running strong! Only issue I think I’m having has nothing to do with the pipe, itself I think the stock gasket is keeping it from seating all the way on the front head pipe or it’s come loose from the vibration, I haven’t figured that part out yet
