I have a BAD USB on a cok-02 board. It operates completely fine other than a bad disc drive. Listed for parts, im here for the “heat sink” cooling mechanism which I’m feel is failing…. Its for another model.😃
Same thing happened to me and the -2 -4 and XT2215 are all different and it won’t power the screens Also You could input the IMEI ON THE IMEI WEBSITE TO KNOW THE EXACT MODEL FOR ITS LCD SCREEN
I suggest you use a flashlight to check if screen is working but a backlight problem. I have the same problem with same phone, the replacement screen does show with flashlight and helps copying files out, but backlight isn't working so the phone still doesn't work. I still don't know why backlight isn't on, or the screen isn't compatible?
Hi there sir , please how do I repair my Motorola g 2021. The problem is when I call I cannot hear the other person. Also the phone screen goes on and off, the phone software system does not work too
No nand means the switch is useless, the nand is married to the motherboard, you 'can' use a donor nand in combination with custom firmware tools to get a working switch that can never connect to the internet (or it gives an error message and reboots)
Nice video, thanks! I just did it with my dad's phone as the mic was dead. It all went nice and smooth! By the way, don't say the tools provided are useless as they get destroyed after one single use... I would have used a knife otherwise, and we ALL know what happens when we do that, right? Uh, but yes, they do get destroyed after one single use -that was all I needed them for :)
Xbox 360 thermal paste is such a pain to get off using isopropyl alcohol. They used cheap paste in the factory. I would recommend using arctic clean for these old 360s
This not always helps. These 12 Samsungs has issue from the main board where you have to run tiny wire down to mic especially when the olu second mic works only
Is it just no ring or no audio at all? If it's just the ring not working I would think something software would be bugged. Could try factory resetting the phone.
I have an A12 and I suddenly have a microphone problem. Calls and voice recording is very muffled, but video recording is perfect. In this video you mention there are two mics??? I am stumped why video recording is crystal clear but phone is all muffled and I can't be heard unless I practically yell into the mic directly. Thanks!
It's probably the microphone at the bottom of the device. That should be attachted to the daughter board like in the video. I would try replacing that one first.
Hello, they changed my screen in a shopping center and it turns on and works, but I see it very opaque, with low brightness I already raised it to the maximum and it still looks like that, as bluish and with light the cell phone does not look good. They say it's normal?
Hey nice work on the video. I have the same phone and it did the same thing. I get an image but when im in the os the led wont function and the charger wont charge and touch wont work either but if i boot it in bootloader the screen works any idea what could it be?
I always mount the tape onto the edge of the screen glass and trim it where needed, since it applies easier than on the frame. Of course it helps to have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 mm 3M wide rolls of tape to match any kind of screen. Oh, it makes me cringe when I see some inject gunky glue instead of high quality double sided tape. Yikes! Also the tape makes it much easier to replace a screen again than having to scrape off all that glue crap.
0:28 wait hold up, "just to get to that point". Isn't all that unnecessary to replace screen only? No need to remove battery either. That's all overkill. Just need to separate the screen from frame housing and cable thru the hole 'over' the battery (unlike other phones like mine), and the cover for the connector board to get to the short flex cable.
I have a question... Hopefully it can be answered. How would you know if you are to replace just the LCD without the frame or the LCD with the frame? For my case my phone (A20) have suffered a major drop, and it bled purple in screen. But it still can charge. So what should I replace it with? Without the frame or with the frame? Thank you!

It's best to have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 mm wide 3M brand rolls of tape to match any kind of screen. They aren't that expensive per roll and lasts for hundreds of jobs.
Hi Andrew! This is a follow-up question to this video... Did replacing the the PCB solve the issue of the phone's mic not working? I have a similar problem in that the mic on my A12 seems to pick up sounds, but so faintly that the person I'm talking with can't hear me at all. But the phone works fine when I switch to speaker phone. I'm considering doing a PCB replacement like you showed in this video. It's been several months since you published this video. I don't know if you check comments on older videos so I'm not sure of a response. But here's hoping.
