Must have been filmed during the wet season.... winter. Green and warm. But forget Popeye Village it is a tourist trap and besides it has nothing to do with Maltese History Heritage and culture. It is an environmental eye sore. Pull it down as well the old British letter boxes and Telephone Booths. Colonial scar. Nothing to boast about their colonial past.
