i want this to become a meme speedrun where the actual speerun it self is pretty much just tapdance on keyboard but all the hardwork goes into the crafting of the run! like a speedrun not for speedrunners, but for the people who theorycraft the speedrunners runs!
I’ve been meaning to say this for a year, and I’ve held back, but I just need to get it out of my system. TAS. This is a TAS. A TASBot cannot see or hear, it just does a sequence of perfectly crafted inputs. You made a TAS. Congratulations.
Wow, how did I only now find this? Incredibly cool, the amount of time spent on this must've been insane. Well done!! (BTW, I agree with the title being a little misleading / clickbaity. DeArrow currently renames it to "Creating a series of inputs to beat Pokemon Fire Red with any RNG" which is much better IMO.)
I feel like this video could provide an elementary undetstamding of quantum superpositions. At the start, the Charmander is in a superposition of ⟨Won| + ⟨Lost|. The xp gain modifies the superposition without colapsing it. I'm not even remotely close to being an expert, but this is suprisingly close to my current understanding.
Idk if it's the same in Fire Red but i'm pretty sure in Emerald if you save and reload the game you can't encounter wild pokemon for the first 4 steps. Same as after you finish an encounter. So if that works the same here you can bypass the fast pidgy.
i read some other comments similar to my experience. i really thought this was clickbait and i kept ignoring it in my recommended. i can't believe how amazing this video is! honestly maybe you should rename it lmao.
This experience of blind commands reminded me of something similar You have just learned to code in the esoteric programming language called "Brainfuck" It is very similar to this
If someone is both deaf and blind they can neither see nor hear anything thus have no idea what they're doing or where they're at so from a logical perspective, hell no they can't beat any game. Even an untrained AI could do better
Did you forget braille exists?Someone that isn’t blind can simply give the blind and deaf person a braille book with all the necesssary button inputs used to beat the game.
@@BrooklynBalla 1. How are you going to learn braille if you're both deaf and blind? You won't be able to see info on it and people can't tell you by ear which each sensation means either. Also good luck telling an A from . or B from ; 2. Braille only helps for reading while games have a lot of information you need to see which isn't expressed in text 3. Good luck actively converting text in a flat screen video game into braille 4. How the hell are you going to enjoy a game anyways if you can neither hear nor see it
@@TheZombiesAreComing I like how 3 of your points are this isn't feasible or enjoyable when your original point how is isn't possble form a "logical perspective". Why would whether or not the person is enjoying the game even matter in this scenario if all we care about is if it is possble or not? Sounds like you just took the title of the video a little too seriously.
@@DisplayThisOkay My points are the same all the way through. If someone is blind, they can not see. If someone is deaf, they cannot hear. That only leaves touch, taste, and smell with only the first being applicable to video games but is useless on it's own. With that said, if someone was truly deaf & blind, rather than faking it for views, they wouldn't even be able to play video games. In addition to this, if you can not perceive what you are doing, then you cannot possibly enjoy it. This entire video is a sham that's fishing for views Also, you suggested Braille for someone who is BOTH deaf & blind which means they can not read to learn it nor can they be guided through it vocally which means if they didn't learn it beforehand, they're screwed with their only means of communicating to learn the Braille being something akin to Neuralink, which if the person is both deaf & blind how could they consent to such an invasive surgery in the first place as it involves placing multiple microscopic needs directly into the brain.
This is impressive and honestly mind blowing. The fact that you made an algorithm that wins no matter the outcome of rng. But I have to confess I came here expecting a braille terminal... edit: ok this is insane
