Great build. While the new BGs do have their own issues. The smaller arenas work well for the Templar play style because you want to be in your Sacred Ground(s). Adding A-Lancer set just benefits you even more. The Coldharbour Collesseum is my favorite new map for this play style. I had a group kill where Aetheric Lancer procced behind a pillar I was LoSing on. When the opposing team came to 4v1 me for the kill, I used Crescent Sweep and it procced the spear on top of that. The combined tooltip was nuts. Plague Break sounds like a good addition. But I want to try a Rangeplar with Snake in the Stars and Sloads using Dark Flare since there’s a ton of healers in BGs now after the MMR reset.
Yeah aetheric lancer can be incredible with a tightly packed group. Looking forward to trying the new BGs on console. I hope they fix the matchmaking problems before console launch
@ Everyone is running BGs right now. With the MMR reset it’s pretty chaotic. You’ll get a lot players who don’t want to die or prefer other play style because of the high skill ceiling. A really good example is a lot Cyrodiil healers joining the BGs. I fought 3 different healers in 3 separate BGs who weren’t all that good. But “by their powers combine” they all were on the same team in one BG. Whether they’re on your team or the opposing team it doesn’t really make for a fun match even with a back-and-forth. We had a healer on our team as well but they were a BG regular out healing the three together. 🙃
Non-vamp, it's too much of a sustain hit now for not that much mitigation for most builds. Any Stam race will work on thos build - Imperial, Orc, Wood Elf, Dark Elf all good
Both are pretty good - Orc is slightly better for PvP imo with the sprint speed, but Dark Elf has thr flexibility of very easily running a magicka build as well if you want to switch things up. If you just have one templar I'd go dark elf
I'm Stuck. I'm following your build. I've got all the same armor (golded) with the same enchantments, high elf, food, attributes, etc. Resistance, Spell Damage, Crit, Penetration match yours. Mag, Health, and Stam Recovery match yours also. But, I'm getting 2,427 less Max Magicka, 1,702 less Health and 924 less Max Stamina (non-buffed): 5% less. Not sure what would cause it. Any ideas??
@ThemPBRBoyz thanks. Styles are Balorgh head, wayward guardian heavy chest / pauldrons / gauntlets / girdle; Morningstar frostweaver legs and shoes. Weapons are iceheart and opal iceheart swords. The silver colour for metal is "frozen blood"
It's to be able to reliably proc the Piercing Cold passive for extra block mitigation, get a ranged light attack to proc Aerie, and have a full strength Wep Dmg enchant.
@yungfleance849 it's a pressure build, just a different way of playing. If fighting a magsorc or nb for example we just need 3 gcd to get multiple 20+ second dots on the target and even if they kite away they need to deal with constant dmg vs a burst dmg build needing to stay on them more.
I play templar on PSNA. I rotate it in the armory between mag and stam builds. Lately having the most success with a ranged magic focused setup. Mostly playing bg's. I find with templar building I'm usually struggling to balance sustain and damage. Getting the comfy amount of one leaving me lacking the other.
Yeah Templar is in a funny place where it feels too far stretched. It's difficult to come back on the offensive if you are on back bar. I like range plar but missed jabs so have been playing around with this build
Thanks, they're probably the trickiest boss in this Dungeon, especially if the mechanics bug out. The gargoyle boss is also tricky cos if he petrified you you end up wiping. I'm not using Plague, rather I have Deadly and Orders Wrath with Velothi. I have a build video on the channel.

Glad to see you are still going ❤ This isnt a dig but id love to just see the Boss fights on Vet solo 💪🏻 My friend Don used to do this but never promoted it enough, i think its a good watch and a better learning experience for those still crying fake tank/healer in Normals when you are soloing Vet bosses ❤️ Sorc is the easiest to do it on imo, well...was due to resources shields and streak to break mechanics like Zaan solo

@GKDEIMOZ9167 it's just a straightforward deadly / orders wrath / velothi / maelstrom staff build. Main champion point that's important is reaving blows that gives 7% of damage done back as healing
Please do a build video. I have the same setup as you for the exception of the velothi but you hit so much harder and you have no sustain issues. Well done mate
Thanks for the comment. Of course you can't get far on nb without animation cacncelling - just check any of my previous nb videos. In this case there was high latency precluding consistent animation cancelling. Have a constructive day :)
I’ve been having issues with bow proc on my stamblade like it never comes up to use. Have you had this issue? I’m also returning for this nostalgic open world pvp from years past hahahaaa
I've had some issues with cast time delay on it but I've not had it just not come up. The old school PvP is great and there's definitely a bit less lag as well!
Just back in ESO after 6 months off. I'll try get round to it but with the current proc set restrictions there probably won't be too many unique builds in cyrodiil for a while.

Builds like this is why pve pugs demand nerfs without even releasing the build is trash when they get nuked and as pvp'ers would say 1 shotted without any chance of a fight back lol
@@laurierduchaine4312 Instead of Master weapons you can frontbar Morkuldin and backbar Unfathomable darkness. This also open options for running bow or 2h. Example: Dualwield Morkuldin and 3p on body. 2p body, 1jewlery and backbar weapon for Unfatomable. 1 malacath band + 1ring of trainee. Pls note: Daedric Prey does not buff Unfathomable.
