I love watching your videos. You show me all the places I would never dare go at Carnegie. I'm usually by myself out there and am afraid to get stuck. I just got some new tires for my XR650L. Do you change them yourself? I hate driving all the way to Motowrx every time and want to start doing it myself...
Hey Donn, I'm the guy on the KLX that stopped by to say hi near your truck on Friday. It was my first time at Carnegie since about 1990. That creek bed ride up the waterfall looked good! Nice feel good ride after the frustration of the tires and breaking in new boots earlier in the week. Thanks again for the videos.
12:43! That spot right there! I asked at the moto mart and they said that gate is never open. I'd really like to see what's up that trail to the left of the gate, but I was scared because it was a steep black diamond and my bike was boiling coolant last saturday, maybe I'll nut up and give it a try tomorrow.
@@mikethemaniac1 yeah, it’s been closed I think 10 years or more now. They have been working on it and my buddy Alan got word it should be open so we checked and nope not open.
Wish you had a cam showing your body position. We would learn so so much from that - that would elevate the skill learning for us to an another level! Love your videos either way 😊
Yo Don!! love your videos, been watching them for a few months now 😄 im a new rider (just about a year of seat time now) but i struggle alot with off camber hill slopes. Almost lost my bike on Heater in Black Bear yesterday. whats the key for passing? speed/momentum? or is just balance. btw that 13 year old puts me to shame 😅 great riding guys!
@@anikendraghosh yeah, I couldn’t believe it, I’m pretty sure I missed it with my front wheel, I think my back wheel hit it. Happened so fast I really don’t know. Thanks 👍
@@henrys6131 nice meeting you, thanks for stopping by. Keep me updated on your races especially like to know how King of the Motos goes for you when you race.👍
@@nytrydr2 i just got back riding after a while so im a bit rusty but ill give it a try next weekend it may be my body positioning as well because im getting a lot of wheel spin
Watching your video is making me question my stark varg's ability to do these creek beds. As it is now the suspension might as well be filled in with concrete.
I didn't see it. I'll check it out. There's no way in hell they're riding the Varg on stock suspension. It's like riding a skateboard with a 2x4 for a seat. I got the medium suspension too. That and lack of a clutch is going to be interesting. :)
Good to see your Carnegie videos again. The videos from the red sticker opener looked fine to me, but I did hear the audio cutting out. Looking forward to cooler weather so we can see Logan again too. He's a good lookin dog.
Thats me at 4:01 😃 I saw you a few times today had no idea this was your channel. You guys were killing it! These videos do no justice to how steep and rut filled those trails are that you ride. You make it look too easy, Much respect 🫡
I wanted to go ride Carnegie so bad today for the new endless Red Sticker season but the heat was killer😅. Nice to see you guys made the best of it and hit some gnarly trails 🔥👍
Nice videos!! I rode those trails a month ago, struggled once I got to china wall trail 5. I think I was so tired and making mistakes lol.. how do you like the 300 now??
@@lonestar27 cool, yeah I’ve been wanting to ride trail 5 after watching Riding with Dom videos. The 300 is awesome, makes the technical stuff a lot easier. Glad you enjoyed the video when I watched on my tv the video quality is horrible, it’s all blurry so I’m wondering what everyone else thinks? Is it
@@lonestar27 shoot, thanks for letting me know. It’s weird because on my phone the video looks pretty good. I’m using an old GoPro 5 black and want a newer GoPro just can’t afford brand new been watching Facebook marketplace for a deal on a newer used one.
I subscribed a couple months ago and have been binge watching your videos lately. At the start of this series, The Undertaker, it struck how spotless your bike looks. I've noticed how muddy it can get on sloppy days. I think I need to take bike washing lessons! I like your plastic putty knife idea for scraping off some mud before heading home too.
@@JohnMurphy281 cool, thanks for subscribing and I’m glad you enjoy the videos. I don’t have a lot of subscribers but comments like yours help keep me going when I feel like quitting. Thank you 🙌
I used to be a Rep here in my area and thinking I might start again on a very small scale, for friends and folks I meet when riding. Google it and you can find it. It’s mostly popular in the California bay area and Santa Cruz area. I’m a long time friend of the distributor Gary Rabe. Look up Gary Rabe International Products.
@@roberthaberman9491 Robert, I no longer reveal everywhere I ride on RU-vid. I may mention where I’m at in the video but I try not to. You got to understand these videos are seen by the entire world and we don’t want the entire world showing up and riding our trails. Hope you understand. Thanks
