I was born in Slovakia and now i am living in the United Kingdom.
I am helping people on their journey to fly paragliding. I'm a paragliding pilot with more that 2000+flying hours, club coach, instructor for Flying Frenzy school ,tandem pilot and also a PPL (Private pilot licence) holder. My goal is to achieve my biggest dream to fly around the World in small aeroplane and be an inspiration for others! Flying has changed my life and i would love to carry on along this path.
Hi from France and thanks a lot for this vidéo i'm a biginner and Always upside down 😂 so it will be helpfull I like the way you take time to explain again and again and again so it get cristal clear 👍👍👍 chears mate and keep going whith that kind of videos
Hello , i am glad that you found it bit useful 😉 France have many beautiful flying sites. Step be step you will become amazing pilot ! Take care and have fun 😉
Having just been on a tandam flight in Lake Garda and rerturned home to Bournemouth and decided to take up Paragliding this Video is perfect as I said to my Mrs I am adding flying from the cliffs to my Bucket list.... Gi#uess I need to Contact Wessex club to find out who is the best local instructors!
@@PeterHoldy Thank you Peter. I contacted them a week ago to get the trial lesson and since then its been terrible weather. Just had a good look at the Wessex site and see the Frenzy guys are on the committee so i am obviously safe in their hands its good to know. Interestingly I also have a Pilots licence however I just have the LAPL and I fly from Bournemouth and Compton Abbas. I am finding it a little expensive to keep going now I have ticked off those Bucket List things so thinking Paragliding is a much cheaper way to get my feet in the air and the adrenalin rush at the same time. I know all teh slopes well as I also used to be a massive RC Glider flyer since I was a school boy. It will be amazing to see the slopes from the air.
@@flyingmortgageman Yes weather in UK is not great at the moment ! Flying frenzy is great school not just because i am instructor there as well 😂 Paragliding will be definitely cheaper way to get airborne. PG is amazing , you can fly low and close to those cliff with out loosing your Pilot license 😂 I am currently in Slovakia finishing my Commercial pilot license and i hoping to be back to UK end of August. If you need any help , feel free to contact me. Best over Instagram 👍 it is much more quicker way 💯
Hello, I don't know if you reading this. We got a privacy complaint over a reaction video that is animation and only our face has been shown and the entire video is an animated movie reaction. We had a problem contacting RU-vid, it just can't reply through email. So you reply with an email? Thanks
Hello, yes i just tried to reply via email as there is not other direct way as far as i know. Sometime you can edit some parts of your video in RU-vid creator page and try to blurs faces or change music. That could work and take complain of your video👍 Good luck .
I was busy with my exams and this summer will be thought financially to finish my commercial training , but step be step i will get there. More videos coming near future PG & Aeroplane 👍 Thank you for watching , take care 😉
People have no privacy any more these days , using smart phones, smart speakers, or just walking on Street where cameras are everywhere + dash cams in cars. We think we have our privacy but in reality we last it few decades ago.
Looks like a top place to fly! Loving the videos peter, ive popped a subscribe, so keep them coming! Inpiring videos for a pilot in their second year like myself
Great video...... love to get into paragliding , paramotoring ........ i think for beginners being able to stay in the air 10 or 20 seconds on the beach is in itself very exciting .
Paragliding is amazing 💯 you can contact your local school and they will arrange taster day for you. You can experience training and some simple short flight in 1 day 👍 Highly recommending it. Then you can see if this sport will be perfect fit to you 😉
Thanks so much for this. I've just bought a Geo 7 and am happy to have a proper lesson on how to pack it. One question, what is the best way to store it if I'm not going to be flying for a week or two? Does it matter if it's compressed and folded, or should it be ventilated? Thank you!
Glider will be happy packed tight for few weeks. No problem there. When i traveling my glider is super tight, so i can pack more stuff with me. But if you like to store your glidet for longer period of time, like storing it over the winter period. Then best way for any glider is to leave it out of your rucksack , freely openly living in spare room. So material can breath. Store it in cold and dry room. So when i know i won't use my gliders for long time , then i just leave them in my spare room. Just freely, loosely i will always drop them there in my spare room 👍 once a while i would turn them over or change their resting positions , to make sure they are not dumped , or wet from one side. Hope that this make sense 😉 Thank you for your kind super thank you 💯🙏 Appreciate it. Feel free to ask any questions. Best contact is via Instagram 👍 much quicker response. Take care. Kind Regards Peter Holdy
Thank you very much 🥂 you are only one who used this special youtube thank you . Appreciate it a lot ! Happy new year 🎉🍾 and wish you lots of flying days. Kind regards Peter Holdy
I am from India and I recently crash landed during elementary pilot course and had a hairline crack on my left foot. Now I am taking treatment but my family and friends asking me not to go back and finish the course when I become fit again. To be honest I am little sacred too but I still want to fly high with paraglider. What's your opinion......
You will never avoid accidents that is impossible, but with lots of training and practice you can significantly reduce accident on PG. PG need to be taken with loots of caution / care. Looks like your mind is hooked up with PG sport. So my opinion is that you do not give up flying ! Take it step be step and finish your course. Remember never stop learning ! Take care and i hope we will fly one day together 💯 Do not give it up ! Best of luck with training. Peter
I using GoPro 7 black and editing is really complex think , will take you lots of time. Edits, music choice, any other corrections if required like footage stabilisation , effect ... Generally for 30min video you can spent 3-4 days with your editing.
Hello Peter thank you for your reply. I start my elementary and CP course in Algodonales with zero gravity in 3 weeks so your 7 days there was interesting thank you. @@PeterHoldy
great video!!!! I am going to upgrade to a C Wing and considering The Cure2??? how do you feel the wing? Is real easy C glider with no stress like BGD says??? thanks!!!!
Cure 2 is pretty good glider, fast with good glide and solid feeling. If you are confident pilot and you are happy to fly any conditions then cure2 will be very good glider in your hands. But if you are just jumping from A or low B glider then it will bite you ! 😉
Hello Mr. Peter, I weigh 75 kg with all my flying equipment (harness + reserve parachute + helmet + radio, etc.) without (paraglider wing), but with (my paraglider wing) I weigh 80 kg. Which weight is counted in the weight of the range? 75kg or 80kg?
