Hello everyone! My name is Moira, and welcome to my RU-vid channel! Although I have had this channel since 2007, I have never used it for anything but making playlists for and leaving comments on videos I like. As an avid gamer for the Nancy Drew PC game series from Her Interactive, I had always wanted to make walkthroughs of them, but I never took the initiative to learn. But seeing that lots of people these days make video walkthroughs of them playing games and even streaming, I figure, if they can do it, why not me?
To help start attracting some attention for my channel, I started by making some short videos, two of which are of me doing an impression of SpongeBob’s laugh and the other two are jokes with hidden puns at the end. While my main goal is to make videos from the ND games, I will also be making walkthroughs of SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit, all the Carmen Sandiego games of the 90s, and the first few Harry Potter games. But I plan to keep making joke videos, too.
Wow, that's really cool! He definitely is one of those people i want to meet not only from the Full House cast but for my love for Disney's Aladdin. It was nice of him to just chat for a couple of minutes he really is Steve a sweet down to earth dude.
@@HAFanForever oh he'll yeah this game was bundled on a old multi game CD from back when Compaq was a main line brand. Can you believe that Final Fantasy 7 demo was on one of those discs!
Ah yes, I once used the torch on the body and the priest said that! 😆 Similarly, if you try to give the torch to Hatshepsut, she yells at you to be careful because she worries about her false beard being singed! 🤣 Ann also makes such remarks if you try to use the lit torch on the bigger torch or on the trees! 😵 I always found these stray actions and the responses made by the characters to be very amusing since they're optional and not part of the gameplay, and that's why I plan to make videos of them in the future, too. I hope you'll get a kick out of them. 😉
@@Superdeath25 They are indeed over the top, and that's what makes them so amusing!!! 😆😆😆 Right now, my plan is to upload all bonus features from this game like this one. Other examples include messing with the pipes in the second case and making wrong notices in the eighth case. After that, I will be uploading some extras from World and USA, so it will be some time before I make the ideas I mentioned above, but I actually do have lots of other ideas for bonus features from this very game, such as showing all the items you can click on in each case and even unused character dialogue! 😯😲😵 It will be some time before I get to these other ideas, but I am excited to make them! 😁😁😁
Ha ha, I agree that a mask added prematurely isn't messy like everything else used, because it just needs to be removed; it doesn't need to be cleaned up like honey or wine! 😆😆😆 Still, the priest's shouting reaction to it is just hilarious!!! 😁😄😆🤣
you know the sad thing when i saw the first preview for this game i was really excited and i know its not easy to make a good game all the time but there were alot of what were they thinking moments and also i would of picked different culprits for the returning culprits
Oh yes, Ransom of the Seven Ships definitely has a lot of "What were they thinking?" moments. The substantial lack of other suspects, or seeable characters, is one of the reasons why this game is so disliked by many fans, and I don't think that's too unreasonable. It has George and "Johnny", who is actually, as it turns out. George is NOT a suspect, so the fact that there is one logical suspect behind Bess's disappearance makes the "whodunit" atmosphere all too ridiculously easy and predictable. Personally, I don't hate it, but I don't like it that much, either. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
@@HAFanForever and by the way without giving spoilers i like the returning villain for revenge on nancy but i think the picked the wrong person i would of picked the culprit from game 14 or 18
@@kelsey1467 I also like the idea of a culprit returning, but I'm really not sure which one I would pick. Dwayne was definitely not my first choice, because I feel his motive for revenge was petty, even childish. When he reveals himself, he comes off as very arrogant and entitled, acting like he did nothing to deserve to be imprisoned. But I guess that goes to further prove Dwayne's vindictive nature: first, he wanted to kill Rick because Rick ditched Dwayne as his agent and caused the latter's business to crumble, and then he went after Nancy just because she got him arrested and sent to prison.
you know anothe nancy drew youtuber says this game doesn't take full advantage of the amusement park setting not saying i disagree but i wonder if thats a budjet issue or not what do you think
Well, I think it's more than just a possible budget issue; it also has do with what the crew decided for the overall focus of the plot. The focus of the case is on the carousel due to its alleged hauntings and theft of the lead horse, so that's why it's the only ride that remained open during the park's closure. And then because the roller coaster stopped in mid-ride without explanation, the park decided to turn off all the other rides and close the park for safety reasons until they knew why these incidents happened.
Thanks for commenting on this and my Waverly walkthrough. I hope you might consider commenting on the rest of them when you have the chance, even though there are over 30, because many of them barely have comments and I'm eager for other fans to check them out.
you know i have to say this game probobaly had one of the best if the best twists of the series and also im glad the twins got unexpelled i don't anyone got hurt by their deception at most people got confused i wish we could of seen mel in a future game as well
I might’ve seen some parts of that show when I was very young, that was how I first knew Carmen Sandiego & The Chief Lynne Thigpen. In 2008, I watched episodes of that show on RU-vid.

I was in my early 20s when SAW was in 2010, but I didn't play it for many years. Had it come out much earlier, I doubt I would have been able to handle the scary scenes as well.
I might’ve watched some of Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego on PBS when I was very young, & then I might’ve watched Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego.
I can recall watching some episodes of Where in the World before I saw some for Where in Time. But I can say in all honesty that I never watched both series in their entireties. Since full episodes are posted here on RU-vid and have been on the site for years, I really should give them a chance and rediscover what I missed seeing as a kid. 😉

Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego has such a catchy theme song, and I really wish the full version of it was included in the 1997 game rather than that small excerpt heard when the logo appears, like immediately after the capture of Carmen. Heck, even the small bit played at the beginning of the demo runs a bit longer than the one in the full game. But I guess since all of the game's credits are shown during the opening when Carmen and her villains break into ACME, there was no need for end credits.
I wanna play this game again, but it's so hard finding a Windows pc simulator that can allow me to play my old PC games or I don't know how to search. Thanks for bringing memories of my childhood. I loved it. Wish they released it on Android/Apple
I had a BLAST playing this game from start to finish since I never had the chance to do so as a child, and all the other Carmen Sandiego games for which I made walkthroughs! 😁😁😁 Happy I was able to remind you of your childhood with this video. 😉😊🥰❤ If you really want to play this and other Carmen games again, you can do it like I did. I think I remember watching a bit of Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego when I was very young before playing my first Carmen Sandiego game. I first knew Carmen from PBS.
Same with me! 😁 Although with me, I remember watching some of the game shows Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego AND Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego on PBS before I played the games. The 1997 version of Where in Time was my first Carmen game. I never played Where in the World as a child, and I only played a little of Where in the USA. Word Detective and Math Detective were the only other games I played to the end. I did play ThinkQuick Challenge as well, but seeing as it's the one game with no true ending, I don't remember if I ever played to capture all six crooks.

Oh, I absolutely agree!!! 😠😤😡 Once they see Harry, they move faster (not at snail's pace! 😆) and hurt him with their acid! They make me not enjoy the Diffindo challenge so much.
@@obozhinandrew58888 "Pesky" is the best word to describe those snails, which is also the word I use to describe Peeves. 👍🏻 When I play this game, I find myself being more in fear of the snails than the fire crabs because the snails move very fast towards Harry once they spot him. Luckily, I stun them enough to make sure they don't leave a slime trail on which Harry could accidentally walk.
I know, right??? 😁😁😁 Getting the chance to talk to Susan Egan, the voice of Meg, who is another one of my favorite Disney women, brought me more joy than I have felt in years, particularly when she said, "You're a tough girl? You can tie your own sandals and everything?" in Meg's voice!!! 😄😊🥰

Oh no, I agree. This isn't a bad opening for the game, but I definitely think the opening for World is more exciting because of how it depicts the ACME Good Guides struggling to chase and catch Carmen. In fact, I always curious why the USA opening wasn't more like that one. But then I also thought maybe the makers wanted to do something to make the opening of USA distinctly different, so they decided to do it by showing Carmen in her mysterious secret hideout, which is revealed to be under the Capitol during the final chase.
Bet it's a nice little reminder for you. 😉 Where in Time was my first Carmen Sandiego game, so I'm especially fond of that game's intro and theme song from the game show. ❤

I got confused because when you are inside that small square rabbit area at the end of your video eating all the patches of rabbitgrass, there is there a random wall with a lock icon on it? I spent almost 1 whole hour thinking that was the final secret. I was trying to get hermoine into that small rabbit area, or at least above it, so i could cast on that key symbol. Im still curious about what would happen if i could because whats the deal with that wall?

If the thief was going to Diamond Head, then she needed to go to Honolulu. That's in Oahu, and you go to the main island. The weather's not so good there - you'd be better off in Oahu. It's very hot of course, but the evenings are perfection - not too hot, but not really cold either. It's worse inside, because you dress for outdoor weather and then freeze because of the AC.

Everyone remembering a redhead's hair first is surprisingly realistic. Red hair sticks in people's minds because it's so rare, with height and weight being secondary. That said, how did they notice his hair under the hat?
Oh, I COMPLETELY agree with you about people remembering redheads due to the rarity of the color!!! 😁😁😁 The color definitely stands out most among seas of people who are a mix of red hair, blond hair, black hair, and brown hair. And with THAT said, Rob Burr (who is in my tenth video for this walkthrough) is another V.I.L.E. crook with red hair, but it's easy to overlook his hair color because there's a very small amount of it on his head. 😉😉😉
