DRZ is a heavy bike with a high seat whereas the XT is light and nimble with a low seat height so I can put my feet down through tight spots. BUT, on the road, the DRZ is the better choice.

Take Simcoe Street North in Oshawa. Take a right on Raglan Road to the end. Turn left, go around a bend then first left on Cochrane. This takes you to Boundry Rd. Pits are on the North side.

I live in Russia. I am 59 years old . I have a Japanese,,Yamaha XT250 Serow,, 2017. I'm driving along the highway 80 km/h and I can't catch up with a fuel tanker ,,Ural 375,, . I think : ,, it can't be ! It just can't be !!! ,, . I went home and took a navigator ,,Garmin,, . According to GPS, it turned out that the speedometer was cheating at 12 km/h !!! A very positive speedometer !!!!! I like this bike . 🏍
@@BoomBoom12349 Я разгонял по-спидометру до 120 км/ч. Но даже на такой скорости уже не комфортно . Мотоцикл легкий и при обгоне длинной фуры становится просто страшно , очень сильно таскает по дороге . А вот по лесным дорогам на скорости 60 - 70 км/ч. получаешь удовольствие . Подвеска очень хорошая и легко проглатывает все ямки и кочки . 😁
@@martalex_msk На моем ,,Ямаха Серов,, (XT250) спидометр показывает больше , чем навигатор ,,Garmin 78,, . При скорости ,,по спидометру,, 120 км/ч , мой навигатор ,,по GPS,, показывал 108 км/ч . Я больше доверяю точному навигатору , чем мотоциклетному спидометру . Мне кажется на вашем мотоцикле ,,Yamaha XG250 Tricker,, ситуация примерно такая-же . 😁
I HAVE A 2022 XT250 AND I DON'T BELIEVE YOU. The US model will barely hit 70mpph and if there is a hill you are doing good to make 65. That is why I am selling mine with 180 miles on it.
I got a 2017 and hit 86 regularly tho i don't keep there for too long. There's been no changes between the years. You just haven't broken your bike in yet. Or did you not know that about bikes?
Let me also add, you need to know how to shift to get the most out of the five speeds. Shifting early in the rev range will limit your top speed. You need to do more riding before you YELL in comment sections 😂
