Whittingham already said that Wilson #1 takes care of the football. #2 Hits his spots. #3 Live arm. #4 very active in the run game. Just go watch the Conference when he named it.
Isaac’s spring ball stat line was good and compared well with Cam’s. Isaac definitely has the ability to ball out and I feel like we have a great backup for Cam with him on the team. I would say we could win potentially 9-10 of our regular season games this year if Isaac was the starter. He has a bright future
Agreed. Won’t be able to beat the best of the best but Utah can definitely still win the Big 12 with Isaac as long as the pieces around him play at a high levle
Stevenson Sylvester said Isaac has that command and leader ship cam has. Considering that I’d say we would go at least 8-4 with Isaac and even potentially 10-2 or 11-1 with him if we had to

This season is going to be about match-ups with defensive schemes. With so many good passing targets, it's going to be finding that weak link in the defense to expose. Utah will have the advantage at some level every game and it's going to be a nightmare for DC's to scheme against. I'm very excited to see it unfold.
As a Texas Tech fan love listening to other programs from other teams. I think Utah will have a great season as long as Cam can stay healthy. I remember last season when Tech was going hard after Micah Hudson, and all the excitement and buzz surrounding his recruitment....i know how tense it can be waiting for these guys to announce.
I agree with not losing to osu but we always drop one or two games we shouldn’t so I could totally see us losing ASU Colorado even though we are better
I think we will lose a game or two as well. This schedule and roster that Utah has is very similar to 2019 and like 2019 I think they will lose one regular season game.
This D Line is unreal. The PAC 12 OLines were so good that many outsiders think of the defunct PAC as just a “finesse” offensive league, but that’s only because the pass blocking was really good. Against Big12 lines, I foresee huge sack numbers. The Big12 lines do seem better at run block, so it’ll be interesting to see where are run defense ends up. Probably not top 5 again.
Exactly! Washington just last year won an award for the best offensive line in the country. Top 5 may be challenging but I still think top 10 and the passing defense will improve because they aren’t going against NFL Qbs each week
If a top 5 run defense didn't beat any ranked teams then you will have the same issues. Multiple sources say osu has the best oline. There pass blocking is better then their run.
@@jonathanwistrcill1336 sure. You got ten sec ranked every year. 4 top 5. Big 12 only had 3, end with 6 with the coaches poll. Oregon was top 10 the other year barely held in top 25. You and I know it makes you feel good to beat ranked teams in the end it's who is rank ar the end.
All great picks. You can definitely make an argument for Alex at his peak may have been the best ever but his numbers aren’t like those other guys. After this year Cam could be considered the GOAT too like I talked about last week

For sure but you can always find a stat that can be used to mislead people in any direction you want. Numbers don't lie but they can be manipulated without the proper context.
JT. You got one of your stats wrong. "Who was Cam Rising's first career touchdown thrown to?" Britain Covey against SDSU? Nope, it was Kinkaid against Weber State in Garbage time. Brewer played most of the game but Cam got in against WSU and threw a touchdown pass.
Maybe actually win a bowl this year. It's a bit ridiculous that Utah hasn't won a bowl game since 2017...I believe and not since Cam has been here. Conference champions are fun, but kind of meaningless afterwards if we keep choking in bowl games to lesser schools like North Western.....(twice). Go Utes, win the conference, make the playoffs and snap the embarrassing bowl game losing streak and yes, then Cam will go down as one of the greatest.
...what do you think the results would be if the NFL picks played in those games? Could have used Kinkaid in the last Rose-Bowls outside the playoff have meant less and less

When is every other conference in the NCAA going to accept that they are interior to SEC, you seen what happen to Florida State last year, even after BEATING BIG BAD Alabama. Money talks, win's don't. As for PAC 12 Schools, forget about it. UR still PAC 12!
Your statement is untrue about the Big12 having no top 25 recruiting teams. TCU is ranked 22 in the 2025 class. And since player ratings are subjective, and don’t always translate, it’s not wise to go overboard on these rankings. Note UCF is 27, Baylor 31, WV 37, Utah 38 & Houston is 39th.
I get what you're saying, but at the same time, Georgia Tech just pulled in their first 5* ever. KState pulled in a 5* this cycle. It can be done even with the NIL power of P2 football.
@brainhunter1000 the ksu was a kansas kid. Was 2nd rated kid. The state of Kansas had 2 5 stars and 3 4 stars. Ksu and ku got 1 of those kids. Tech got a 5 star last year, i know it was nil. Know nothing about g tech. You got to own your own state with nil. Lol
Unfortunately Utah is still underperforming when it comes recruits. Despite Utah wining back-to-back PAC12 championships in 21' and 22' and have been to the Pac12 championship game 4 of the last 6 years and they are still only mostly just getting 3 - stars recruits with maybe a 4 star or two here and there is kind of embarrassing. Even BY-Who in their independence days were landing just as many 4 stars as Utah, which again is embarrassing. Yes, Utah's recruits are SLOWLY improving. But we are still LIGHTYEARS behind the top schools.
@phillipolsen1262 did you watch the post. I asked did utah keep up with recuriting before they were in the big 12 I answer it with a no. I said utah needs to own utah the state in recuriting first. I know you probably thought I was talking about my laundry list or utah avocados.

So funny to see how much Max relies on production to evaluate most players, but then lets his man-crush on Aller take over and make a million excuses for why he lacked production. The Aller hype in general is pretty crazy for a guy who hasn’t shown much.
probably 20/21 end of season ranking. They weren't very good last year, the only thing better this year is Rising which he is a true ? My guess is he'll be out by conference play.
