Nice. Ive owned 3 mc22 cbr250rr's they're still everywhere here in New Zealand for cheap. The best of the old 250 fours in my opinion. I wrapped around the speedo on one of mine from 99,999 back to 00000 it travelled so far.
If ordering from RS Paints in the UK. Blue for tank and main stripe (Powerful Blue 10403), White body color (Super White 10405), Light Blue stripe (Marble Parsec Blue 10404).
I’m really starting to get into the GSXR’s from the early 90’s, just the livery alone is worth it. I don’t think any other manufacture was as far out there at the time!
Do you know of any companies that make those style gauge needles, or of a way of making them yourself, such as a 3D printer or something of the sort? I've got an '85 CB700 that has both the tach and speedo gauge needles broken and they are that style but I cannot find any replacements for them, would you know of a way I could remedy that?
I’ve not looked to see if anyone makes them but 3D printing would probably be the best option. The other method is to buy one of those home molding kits and try to do it that way but it’s a lot of hassle. Alternatively find a set of used clocks and swap the parts over, might be cheaper.
@@MCSR52 ah that's a good idea, thanks for the help with research! This is the first vehicle I've ever attempted to fully restore and of course I bought the bike with zero research into available parts, if I had done that I probably would have went for a 750 or something more common but I can't go back now
First off it looks beautiful. I’m glad you decided to give it a new life again. I see you ended up going with the 2 up tail (biposto) that will come in handy if someone stops by to borrow it and has a friend. If you decide to get ride of the sps tail let me know.
Contact me on email with a short write up on its condition, last time ran etc, and even better send some photos. My email is mcsr_52@comcast.net. You can also call me on +1 408 834 4748
😂got something very special and very different coming up, will try to get a short out today. Are you planning to sell the CBR900rr bodywork as a set? Or you need them for one of your bikes?
