The chuck laser is accessed via the nunchuck stance. This can be either by hustle (as you saw) then chuck heavy, then normal nunchuck. Alternatively it can be via nunchuck, chuck heavy, nunchuck. The way I did it is a couple frames faster through free canceled hustle and chuck heavy. It leaves you really vulnerable given you have no FC to use. The laser isn't parriable though, so you can force them in a blockstring if they don't read it (which is unlikely for anyone that isn't a beginner).
If you're mid-combo then you can do a grounded quickslash with a nunchuck attack(this lets you use chuck heavy without nunchuck stance). The funny thing about this is that if they DI out of the chuck heavy then they'll probably be at the perfect height to get combo'd by 3+ lasers.
