Thanks for the video! I'm having an issue locating the "Developer" option in the Q3 settings. Do I need to create a developer account in order to have that option? cheers...
Okay so I'm having a problem. I did everything and I turned it to hands. It doesn't say trackers for some reason. My hands appear for about 5 seconds then disappear. Help me
i have two questions: 1)you able to pull the gun trigger with this set up?? of so how does it work? 2) do you loose tracking / hold on the flight stick when trying to look to the side or behind you with this set up??
Great video, good chill flying. Hand tracking seems sick, I've always preferred using VR Joycon instead of setting the HOTAS, it wins a lot immersion wise. I don't ever do combats so I don't need to be "fast". I might get my hands on the quest 3 soon.. I'm on Rift S (pre Quest 1) and a 3080 TI, it should handle it.
You can use just the vr controllers(maybe even just handtracking, I don't know), but it is a little twitchy. It might get better if you fiddle with some settings.
I borrowed a quest 2 and a quest 3, the 3 is miles better than the 2 (obviously). It's so friggin' immersive! Way better clarity throughout the lens etc and just overall, its so nice!
- Has at least 5 or 6 ghz wifi router (802.11 ac/ax/az/be) with no or few other devices in the network and line of sight? - System specs to run DCS at 4k@72fps+ - PC with Oculus app, Virtual desktop or Steam (with Steam Link enabled on PC and also installed on Quest 3) installed? - Hand tracking settings in Quest 3 settings fiddled with? - Enough ambient light so Quest can see hands well, flicker free LEDs help.
Can this only be used with the link cable? I have the developer mode turned on and the developer run time turned on. I deleted the help file in the folder but still only have disabled or controllers
My carrier landings are different. They must put on fireworks or something because as soon as I touchdown I see fire and explosions and everything goes black.
I use rudder pedals, and I use HOTAS for flying. Ability to finally reach-out and use hands for cockpit interactions in VR is a nice new feature in DCS.
Can't wait 'til this stuff actually works smoothly, accurately and consistently with the different headsets out there... will be the next game-changer.
