it should still work but Hive-Mind is better used as a defensive team. People also don't really use PEGASUS on defense anymore. And they can punch up quite a bit
There is no difference in the type of force applied to the vehicle (aircraft or RC car or rocket vehicle, etc.). You only get a horizontal force. The only time that matters is, of course, if the vehicle lifts off the ground and the powered wheels lose contact with the surface. Even still, that just means that the four forces calculations still apply. That said, their RC car experiment is flawed. There are three parts to what they showed. First, they showed that a treadmill can match the speed of a powered vehicle. That shouldn't be controversial and that's actually what the thought project is saying to test. Second, what they did was turn off the motor in the RC car; not surprisingly, the car slowed down...but they did not also slow down the conveyor belt to match that speed of the wheels. That is the explicit term we are given. Matching the speed of the wheels. Lastly, when they used a hand to roll the RC car across the surface of the conveyor, they did not match the conveyor / treadmill for every adjusted speed they made. IF they push the RC car forward, that means the wheels are rolling faster; the conveyor is supposed to speed up to match. Mathematically (and absurdly) that means that they can apply any push to the RC car or the aircraft, and the conveyor accelerates to match that rate. The RC car or the aircraft remains locked in place - 100%. In order to do that test truly properly, they would need to do some measurement of the wheel speed with a tachometer or, more crudely, with a position measuring system and then tie that into a controllable motor on the conveyor that adjusts to the rotational speed of the vehicle or the relative position of the vehicle. With their airplane on a tarp pulled by a truck, they spitballed it. That's not a good way to test something that's pretty explicit in its explanation.
...this looks to be a fake, the wheels of the plan cannot move no matter what the engine does or where it is if the wheels rotation is completely countered. This is obvious and of Science, no forward motion, no airflow, no velocity sufficient for the plane to take off.
A car stopped on a stopped conveyor will drive off without the conveyor every starting. As the wheel turn the car moves forward and the conveyor moves backwards under the wheel the same amount, 1 for 1 in the opposite direction. The conveyor never starts.
A 747 is on a conveyor belt which is as long and wide as a runway. The conveyor belt matches the speed of the wheels except in the opposite direction. Will it fly? The answer is a definite no. A person on the ground would be able to talk to the pilot if the speeds match. No forward movement. No airflow under the wings. No flight. The plane cannot take off.
@@shooterqqqq they have wheels to not drag their belly on the ground, but they don´t use them to speed up like cars. Those wheels are just there. Every plane uses its own propellers/jet engines to push AIR behind it and thus having the same force applied to itself moving forward. Engine doesn´t push wheels. Engine creates thrust, thrust pushes the air, counterforce of it pushes the plane forward -> plane pushed forward is pushed with its gear obviously and while those wheels are in contact with the ground, they spin due to friction with said ground. But if you start moving the ground to the back, it spins crafts wheels faster and faster, but those wheels have freedom to roll (as seen in the video). The aircraft will still push air behind it, accelerate and take off as usual. Exactly as the surprised pilot told: "I lift of as usual, to my surprise". 747´s have wheels for the exact same purpose. It has wheels to not lay on the ground, not to speed up ;)
@@siriusczech No. The plane remains stationary on the belt so a bystander can talk to the pilot. The plane isn't going forward ACCORDING TO THE AUTHOR. No forward movement. No air under the wings. No lift. No flight.
@@shooterqqqq It is not stated that the plane can´t move. It is only stated that it has a belt under it´s wheels. Thrust => movement of the plane => WHICH starts to turn those wheels. And no matter what those wheels will do (or how fast you make them spin using outside force), the plane will lift off JUST LIKE IN THE VIDEO :)
the myth should be named "can an airplane accelerate off of a treadmill?" if you frame the question that way the confusion fades, and you get a boring episode.
Typically if I’m going against H4H since I don’t have weapon X i will bring some team that can just take a few early hits. I don’t have a functional infinity watch so typically it is gamora and nebula and I’ll throw in emma and can pretty reliably punch up a little, they get a ton of deathproof from the H4H so my Eternals can survive a few hits, I believe I’ve gotten won 350k or so with them. They are 80k and 75k and the deathproofs constantly keep them going enough to get through most if not all of the charged fine, or even just get through them completely. It works I guess.
you look at 1 fight with no showing if its war or just practice, you don't see power levels and overall strength and you all cry, it would never happen vs big H4H team - all films shows big eternals vs mediocre H4H at most - these duo are strong but so did the dadbros back in the day - great but not invincible
These two have completely broken the game. It boggles my mind why they have let this go on this long. It clearly was a marketing scam to get people to spend money on these two.
1.) This is a baby H4H team. 2.) Showing the Eternals without three other toons is misleading, because both Sersi and Ikaris have abilities that say, "...apply to a random ally..." So yeah, they will ALWAYS buff each other when you don't have anyone else (hence the green stacks). 3.) Do we have proof this is an H4H team in War Defense? 4.) These Eternals are about 100k each, whereas the H4H toons are each 64k. Look, the Eternals are great. Ikaris himself is one of the top 3 solo characters in the game. But they aren't auto-winning everything. I have still wrecked them with Weapon X in war, and they can still bounce off of big Infinity Watch teams (if that IW team has Warlock) in Arena at times. We have also all seen the Coulson, Emma, and Namor team that beats Eternals because it basically makes it so Ikaris never gets a turn.
My eternals were g14 and it was a punch down in general as well because my New Warriors were in there. It's because I felt that they didn't contribute to the fight that I tried to fight with just the 2 Eternals after this
@@Denton722 I'm not sure tbh and I sadly can't test that in my own alliance. It works best if at least 1 in the H4H team is weak enough to get killed by Ikaris Ultimate attack on the first turn, because then Ikaris will do his Ultimate attack again and kill everyone. I know they revive but it ruins most of their charges. If H4H doesn't kill any of the Eternals during their initial offense, then it gets really hard for them to kill the Eternals because they keep stealing H4H's deathproofs. I'd say this is mostly a great way to get rid of medium sized H4H that would otherwise require you to use Infinity Watch or another really big team that would have to punch down a lot.
Holy crap ... OHH my god ... Fuckin sick ... I can't believe what I just saw ... Did these two eternals punchup against H4H the almighty war defense team that rekt everyone else even on punch downs .... Srsly scopley is breaking the heights of power creep !!!
Look at the H4h when it’s their turn or when he targets them. He can’t do that against majority of h4h wirh maxed skills my eternals are g16 maxed an can’t 2 man h4h
