These people are built different. I don't think a life of genuine service is meant to come with so much danger, stress and uncertainty. To be forever scared and on edge is not conducive to retaining a heart of love & service to others. That's just not possible. And the fact that more assassinations and sabotage are plotted and carried out against people trying to be of service just means this civilization is doomed.

Cetera is still spinning this story in effort to make a plausible EXIT STRATEGY for an EGO THAT WANTED MORE OF EVERYTHING HE CLAIMED HE DESERVED ..... he was a Good Bass player & a great High Tenor .... BUT, as it turned out there are better in each skill and more than he imagined THAT ARE BOTH ! The three Bass Players that replaced him were just as competent and HE WENT ON TO A SINGULAR SPOTLIGHT DOING POP FLUFF HITS .... yes good and profitable .... just not REAL ROCK, BLUES, JAZZ INFUSED BRILLIANT BAND PERFORMANCE !!! That is as Leonid and Friends put it ..... INCREDIBLE MUSICIANSHIP and compositions far better than the rest ! Peter wanted more attention, more power & PAY ...... that is the down & dirty truth of it !!!

This young man coming `to America, his struggle to stay in America, his incredible hard work in ballet, which it is trust me. Also his horrendous survival in China under Mao's ctuel regime and then to be locked up in the consulate and interrogated. Not hearing and worrying about his family. I commend this ~an and all his struggles and still became a classical dancers in the world. My heart goes out to Li and his family. I hope everyone who watches this interview and listened to Li's story is greatful we live in the democratic west.

I can totally relate. I was seconds to a minute away from dying and thought, " This is it. This is how my life is going to end." It was as she eluded to, not scary so much as a matter of fact acceptance. I wll also add that I never saw a light or felt comforted; in fact, it was the opposite. I felt darkness around me and a semi cold feeling as I was dying. I was put in a medically induce coma to save my life and that was five years ago; I made it!!

I just wanna say that until a few years ago I didn't quite realise how badly the police profiled races... Call it naivety... Say it's cause I've never experienced which technically isn't true but I can say I've definitely never experienced the kind of profiling that happens to be of other races other than white. I am privileged to say that. However I think what makes me feel worse is the fact that this has been going on for years and here is Maria talking about it decades ago. Where I live we have loads of different races but the vast majority are white. It's not the same all over the country but regardless it's still the majority. When I was a teen a group of us were walking through a bad neighborhood smoking joints. We looked like delinquents and to be perfectly honest we were just smoking joints and walking. But the police stopped us. It's literally the only time I've been stopped and it was because they assumed we were up to no good because we were teens in a bad area. Weed wasn't legal so technically to them we were up to no good. Both male police officers and By law can't search girls/women. So the boys gave us the bag. The police officer swore at us which is just unprofessional, but they manhandled a 14 year old girl to get the bag off her back.
