I've had a 1974 hatteras sport fish and its the best boat ive owned as far as sea worthiness and construction quality! It would take anything literally. I'm now in the process of buying another one.
It's good advice, James, esp bottom inspect, but there are tons of reasons people sell their boats shortly after buying them. Particularly right after covid when so many people were buying boats. Incidentally, 2-3yrs of ownership is an ideal time for a buyer bc the seller has normally been through the "honeymoon" with their boat spending a bunch of money on repairs and upgrades
These are great boats and Bayliner sold a ton of them. Super livable for their size and at this price it would be easy to bring everything up to date and ship shape. "Early models with 110hp Hino diesels cruise at 12 knots, and later models with 150hp turbo Hinos cruise at 16-17 knots. Twin 5.7L gas inboards cruise at 16-18 knots. Over 3,000 are said to have been sold."
I purchased a boat and trailer off of a guy , he. Give me bill of sale for both but the owner passed away well the guy with bill of sale told me I can get a title but notary saying I need title. I'm in Pennsylvania. Any idea of what I need to do

Video starts out saying gas version of chevy 308, which makes no sense to me, then say 3208, which is a Cat diesel engine, but what i actually see is a sbc of some type on v-drives. Get all your facts straight before you present anything for sale. Makes you look unprofessional. How do the viwers know youve gotten anything accurate?
A 43 foot boat not having even one true double berth is asinine. That aft “nav station” is such a waste of space. This boat would be *perfect* for a couple of it had a real bed. It’s such a shame because it has the room for it.
