Hey. Sorry for late response but I use Seasoning salt, Creole seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. I use that same combination on everything I grill.
I love my weber chimney starter, but i smoke out my entire neighborhood when i use it. I have to go back to lighter fluid until i live in a more open area.
My wife and I just got back from doing 10 of 43 distilleries on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. I HIGHLY recommend it to folks if you get a chance. On a side note, how are the Plainsmen from Auburn going to be this fall?
War Eagle to you brother! I'm definitely a Kentucky Bourbon guy! The Bourbon Trail is on my hit list for sure. As for the Tigers this year, I actually think we will be pretty good. If we can get the QB position solid then we will shock some people. I'm excited to see what Freeze can do with his own recruits. WDE
Preach George! I use Pecan wood all the time. It is probably the most versatile wood out there! Thanks for reaching out. Let's keep the grill skills going!
Hey Mark, I seasoned them using Seasoning Salt, Garlic Powder, creole seasoning, and black pepper. Those are my 4 favorite seasonings. I Use them on everything. Thanks for watching and War Eagle!!
Awesome, thank you, I’ll definitely be using the foil cover. Is there a reason for not starting the fire starter on the grill directly, why do it on foil on the ground first?
Hello. Thanks for the question. Actually I'm not sure why I don't just start it on the grill. At home I normally start the fire away from the grill because I clean the grill out while the coals are getting hot. I guess it is habit. Nothing special about it. LoL. Thanks for watching!
Any man cooking on a Kettle is a friend of mine. I love that channel name, man that's cool. It looks like you film your videos with your phone, like I do. Try filming with your phone in landscape mode (sideways). Your videos will look much better fam. The portrait mode is better for tiktoks, shorts and reels. Congrats on reaching and passing 100 subs! I just took it up by one. See you around bruh.
WDE...my wife and I both did our undergrad work at Georgia Southern, but growing up in Marietta Ga I was an Auburn fan for some reason. Live in Tampa now...hate the Gators. 😅
I love Tampa! For a while, Tampa was the championship capital of sports. That's cool you graduated from Auburn. I'm also an alum. Class of 2001! I'm hopeful our football team can pull it together with Freeze at the helm. We shall see. I definitely will be grilling for all of our games. War Eagle to you family!
I just looked up what you were referring to. I like that vortex! I'm going to order me one from Amazon! Thanks for sharing. Keep watching for a video with a vortex.
Thank you. You did see an Auburn shirt on me. I am Orange and Blue all the way! A WDE if you like Auburn too! Thanks for the comment. Thank you for watching.
I guarantee, those burgers were juicy and delicious. Thanks for sharing that tip. I will definitely have to try that. That’s the wonderful thing about RU-vid, we learn new things from fellow RU-vidrs. Thank you for sharing! Liked and subbed. Cheers from Dave over at Dabomb Smokes. 😎🤘
Thank you so much for the feedback. I really appreciate that. I agree with you. It is nice to share ideas and experiences to fellow RU-vidrs. Happy Grilling 😊
Thank you so much for the feedback. Yes, the gatherings was about 50 people. It was so much fun. We rocked it on the grill too. The wood gave the hotdogs a nice flavor. Hey listen, if you haven't already done so, please subscribe to my channel. Feel free to reach out to me anytime! Happy Grilling
This video is VERY helpful. I'm new to grilling, so can you do another one, and show every step? Like I would like to see how to get the charcoal from the chimney to the public grill...
Hello there. Sure thing. I will post another video with a step by step of set up to cooking. Thanks for watching and sending me a note. Keep the grilling going. It is truly a joy to grill!
Thanks for watching and sending me a note. You know I haven't done a chicken on a beer can yet. I have tasted some before and it was very Juicy! I will have to try it soon. Keep in touch.
Funny to say, you are doing bbq chicken legs with the same method that I want to test with ribs basically. I've done ribs the 3-2-1 method, the 3--3-1method and other ways. I thought to myself why not start off with the 3 hours open face on the smoker then put them in foil pans, cover them with sauce, cover and let boil on the smoker for 3 more hours drenched and covered in sauce. I am originally from the Midwest and Open Pit is also my sauce of choice for the video. I can't find Open Pit here in Colorado so I ordered 2 156oz bottles from a Walmart in Illinois. I'm hoping this method, trial method that it is, will turn out some delicious ribs. I miss my Open Pit even though I have my own homemade bbq sauce. I'm sure your chicken wings turned out very tasty 🙂
Hey Mile High Guy! Thanks for the feedback. If you use that Open Pit on your ribs...yum yum. The chicken turned out very tender and Juicy. I haven't done ribs in a minute but I need to try my hand at them to keep myself skilled up. Take care and keep grilling!!
So what I take away is use common sense. Heat rises and thus dries out water from above the source of heat. Use more dry than ya think, and never give up! Thanks brotha! 😊
Thank you Aldo for reaching out. I had some coals last week that may have been old so I had to treat them like wet coals and stack the wood to make my fire! Listen if you haven't already done so, please subscribe to my channel. Feel free to reach out to me anytime.
