Quick qustion: When turning them on for the first time, does the home screen and Chrome browser show latest news? We had issues with other EDLA systems that always showed the latest shootings or police chase ... not super in an elementary school :S
Hey there! That is the default behavior for all Google Chrome browsers and we cannot override that rule. With SMART, teachers can customize their board and remove the extension so they never have to see it again. Or, bypass the default screen by using the floating keyboard or voice recognition. Alternatively, schools can block the extension with their firewall settings.
It's native! On SMART Boards with iQ, teachers can access Notebook files directly from their linked cloud accounts in just a few clicks. These Notebook files remain interactive and editable.
@@SMART_Tech Our district uses Promethean boards, but I want them to try the iQ so that they can see the differences. Is there a program available for the tech group to get a board to put into a classroom and see how it goes?

That is a great question! Our displays do not come with an embedded camera but it can easily be added. What you see on the top right of the bezel is the mic-array and room sensors.
There's a built-in mic array and SMART has an add-on 4k camera that integrates if your school does distance/blended learning. It comes included with the QX (business model).

Общаясь после 3 бесплатных лекций с куратором, я не поняла как, но оформила рассрочку на обучение ( А обсуждалась только возможность обучения и оплаты. Милая куратор предложила проверить " А одобрят ли вам рассрочку" " А теперь откройте ссылку" и в итоге оказалось, что рассрочка одобрена и договор уже заключен! А меня и не спросили. Если специалисты используют такие ходы, для привлечения студентов, советую с ними не связываться!

Hi there, We already have your SMART boards ( 1st version) in the Institute. As we are a center for teaching languages, we mainly need the board for showing Pdfs files and playing audio tracks. The most critical problem is when we play the audio track; it is on the background so we don't have any control over it especially when we are writing on the pdf using the annotation pen. I am wondering if there is any method or another audio player app to be shown over the pdf, I mean to overlay the pdf so that I can move and control. Secondly, whenever I open any app and I want to move to another, I have to click HOME and start again and cannot manage the apps, which are already running Thirdly, we need some better apps for different types of files as the apps in the store are not convenient
