Triforce, I ran into this problem myself. Did you find any way around it? It happen to me on repeated new characters, regardless of sex/race/class or any other things like customization. The only way I was able to get things back to normal was to remove the line of code that you put into the Origin DAI game launch and/or the desktop DAI shortcut that helps fix FPS issues. I'm not sure if you use these or not, but they seem to be the cause of this bug from what I discerned with some trial and error.
No I did not find a way around it, sadly. After my exploring for a bit I had to exit to the main menu and my character was gone. I too think that this glitch is related to the 60fps unlocking in cinematics, due that I had that activated when this happened. Thanks for the response!
