Would be very nice to get a walk through the database and the ideas behind the structure. I would also appreciate a overview or visualisation of the systems parts. Like what happens when a request is made, how is it resolved? How does modules, templates and stuff interact? I cant see the forest for all the trees.
I am sorrry to say that the sound quality is extremely poor. Hardly anything is audible without straining the ears. This is a deterrent in the wayway to create and keep the engagement with the topic.
Adding tabs and various new fields to create user page is a good option, but is there any way to add similar functionality to the default user registration page of Orchard Core?

Hi! How did you try to create a new user then? If nothing works, please delete the App_Data folder. Once you do it, you can set up your site again and create a new admin user. Hope it helps!
Thanks for the content! If you could add some diagrams to explain how things are going, it would help a lot! Like a diagram on what shapes are containing and how they are rendered and some diagrams containing alternates also.

What I have been struggling to find is "Orchard Core Fundamentals". (Someone please point me to if there's any) I believe without a comprehensive "Fundamentals" like content - the learning becomes difficult, sometimes impossible. While Orchard Core may be a brilliant framework, it lacks structured documentation paths. The promoter behind this should address this. [Note: This is opinion of someone who is in the software industry since 8086 assembly age, progressing through C,C++, COBOB, FoxPro, Java, Lisp, Scheme, .Net and so on] - Things like fundamental architecture, module and services discovery, core interfaces and abstractions, their role and relationship, persistence fundamentals, extensibility to me are the most important things someone like me would be keen to learn as first step. I don't says that such doesn't exist - what I say is things are isolated, scattered, dispersed and unorganised. If some of the contributor pay a little investment to an organised, disciplined documentation, I am sure Orchard Core can thrive lot faster.

It is second time in a year I watched this. Just to share my learning experience, I believe it would have been far more informative if projects were not created using PowerShell scripts for multiple reasons: 1. For the audience not much familiar with the PowerShell, it could easily distract them from the Orchard Core and force them indulging in to PowerShell bits and bobs, which is not the subject here. 2. In most default cases, PowerShell has high security enabled, so executing such scripts would be problematic, which could again de-track the audience. 3. The script is just creating a solution adding few projects and adding some project referencing. Such exercise would elaborate the process and project structure in broader daylight if done in the Visual Studio UI rather than leaving the impression of some "magic" done by the scripts. Appreciate that not everyone might have the same experience, I am just sharing what I felt.

@@Lombiq what I mean with the system, essentially the entire contents, their definitions, items, widgets, layers etc; like a copy of what it is in App_Data folder if you will. Practically do a backup that you can restore your page if something goes wrong.
@@rwxzig I see. In this case, you can utilize the Deployment Plans and Deployment Steps to export the site's content into JSON files. If something goes wrong, you can import these JSON files and restore the site to that previous state. Hi, I did exactly like the video but the new inputs didn't appear on the PersonPart Create page and when I try to fill in the biography input and publish it shows an error message that Name and BirthdateUtc are required and doesn't show that Handedness input is required. What do you think I did wrong here?

I was not able implementing the Title part overriding in OrchardCore 1.7.2 - doing it as explained and as in Dojo-Course-3-Orchard-Core-Demo github repo. Is here some thing now obsolete (OrchardCore issues 9727, issuecomment-864921130)?
