Games and Guides ladies and gentlemen. I enjoy a variety of games that range from cultivation games through to zombie games :D Shockingly, i am in fact a millennial 😂😂😂
I really hope music in this game would be up to par, since this genre seem to always use the same generic stuff or it just seems so similar that I can't even differentiate. Thanks for the video, really happy to see new games that I never even heard about before)
120 hours and you are done with the game? While having bad build and do little damage to bosses? I don't get it why blame the game and not yourself. A lot of us have been playing more than 200 hrs and are still progressing in the game in terms of base building and making loadouts better. "I rushed the game, i'm bored with the game. Game bad" Lmao. This game ia clearly not for you man. Go play something else that satisfies your crave. Just because it doesn't fit to your needa doesn't mean the game is bad.
Chinese games are such an interesting study in divergent development. They have an overabundance of elements, often with questionable balance and depth, but very little in the way of QoL or UI comfort. I guess it's a sign of different priorities.
Oh yeah it is super interesting - they seem to have a hyper-focus on as many features/systems they can get in lol I do think a big one is translating the UI and descriptions into english makes it super cluttered as well
Literally... yes 😂😂 The main story starting as a slave makes you a fallen prince pretty much who is tied to an already existing kingdom and faction (which you can rule eventually)
Yeah thats the best description here i think, i enjoy me some fantasy elements with my wuxia and it being 5 element spells and reiki/qi based skills is even better tbh
Agree on the part phase 3 is boring phase, I barely play and do anything on that phase except build my house and my acid farm. But phase 4 is great, forgotten giant and lea labs are great dungeon plus the pro mode on silos and boss fight. Will keep you playing for days, especially solo mod hunting on pro mode silos
Yeah, im kind of surprised the game also doesnt tell you not to use too many controllors on phase 3 mods because all the best mods are from phase 4 in the pro stuff right?
@@B.B.G same mod on phase 3 and 4, only differ in the substats. Mods with violet substats will have bigger chance in dropping in Pro than Hard mode, theres also bigger chance to drop 3 mods instead of 2.
i've met someone in the game who also used to play runescape and suggests to name our warband "ZAMORAK" and they dipped, have not been online for a week lmao.
I feel they need more tiers of base stuff and materials. Feel like there's too much power based on endgame mods and grinding them, while not enough base and resource progression, not to mention better QoL of automation of basic things. Plus they need to make some kinda munition for Prime War that doesn't use stardust source. People complain nobody is helping make stuff, but most people don't have time to grind stardust source enough to both make the munitions and upgrade their gear
They did reduce the cost for that prime war missile i think, still, there is usually only one or two people making the damn things anyway Not to mention.. phase 3 is pretty much a trap from what ive been hearing You should be saving all controllors for when the pro dungeons open not when the hard ones do lmao
Make Alts, build tons of auto-farm, farm sproulets everytime it's up in dif channels, play with other builds on the alts, i'm with 220 hours and i still haven't burned out
Yeah im definitely not the type who can make alts just for the sake of trying a different build tbh, that sounds intensely boring to me but i have done everything else including swapping through channels for events 😂 You'll probably get a lot more hours out of the game for yourself that way though 🤔
i was literally talking about this from reddit threads i found. i was saying how some ppl are complaining but they sped ran the game instead of enjoying it at their own pace. i blame some content creators tbh posting 1 dsay level 50 tutorials and whatnot. they beta tested the game and knew everything.
That definitely didnt help things for sure, i still see 1000 videos a day being posted for tips and tricks in this game too - gone are the days of exploring a game for yourself it seems
Ohh yeah it do be like that 😂 At one point at the end of phase one i spent hours mindlessly running the spider over and over for noobs who had rushed the story too fast lmfao
@@B.B.G I'm not gonna play this game of naming in hand activities for you bro. If you feel like playing this game...any game, just play it. If not, just don't. I'm kinda tired of this content creator life's cycle of hyping a game, then talking BS about it just to try to keep their viewers inside this eternal loop of jumping from a given game into a newer game ...because it's more profitable for CCs then playing just 1 game for a long time span!
@@badlicious yeah man that's fair enough, I've just done every single activity and event 100 times I have never hyped this game up with a video only to talk badly about it in another though, it's way outside the content I normally make but I totally get what you mean - I've seen many people making many videos on every aspect of this game lmao That said you are right, which is why I'm just not playing it anymore :D
I completely resonate with your feeling about the game. It really scratched an itch that I can't even remember the last time that I felt with gaming, it really is a gem in the sea of garbage that is recent gaming culture, I absolutely loved the experience so far. With that being said, I must admit that being phase locked must be one of the worst feelings when you're having this much fun with a game since it completely kills the flow of it. Much like yourself, I've put in a fair bit or hours into the game, much more than I usually do since I was so enthralled by it, even though I'd say that over 75% of my hours in the game have been just doing random mundane tasks, farming random stuff, messing with base building or helping friends as I wait for the next Phase to begin. There really isn't much to do asides for the main objectives in each phase, which are very underwhelming for the most part. To add insult do injury, a lot of phases are just placeholders, for instance the game isn't nowhere near challenging enough for you to have to farm and build your character all that much for the following content nor are the upgrades that significant. Phase 1 gets you hooked with tons of quests, exploration and systems to get the hang of, then you hit a massive artificial brick wall and have to wait for the next phase, Phase 2 allows you to finally experience the rest of the game and fully build your character asides from the dreadful mod farm(which you have no means of effectively farming at this stage), Phase 3 comes with nothing new besides access to somewhat starting to farm mods, which you might end up falling for the trap of wasting all your Controllers at this stage since there isn't anything else to do and missing out on how to actually farm mods, which comes with Pro mode in Phase 4, which also doesn't add much besides it. When it comes to Prime Wars(when they work), the main objective of PvE servers, there really isn't any reason to complete them more than once since you only get Starchrom on first completion and the rest of the rewards are very lackluster, not to mention that you might get unlucky like myself and end up playing on a dead server where the only active players are stupidly toxic and organize themselves in secret and try to only run them when nobody else is around... Prime Wars are an absurd resource sink and you somewhat depend on others, at least for the DPS checks, not griefing the builds or not failing braindead mechanics(which apparently are a massive challenge for some people xd), since even with all the prep and dedication imaginable, you can only burn through so many resources with fortifications, cannons, missiles etc With all of that being said, I love the game and I really hope that they manage to bounce back from this rocky start, I'd also add that there are some other major issues that need urgent addressing like account-wide progression, PvP being a complete dumpsterfire etc (and please for the love of God can Controllers just get deleted from the game already) As a sidenote, it blows my mind how slowly some of these more vocal casual players have been progressing through the game, I have quite a few friends who have only been playing 2~3 hours maybe 2 or 3 days a week, some even less and all of them are stuck in the same loop of just waiting for the next Phases. The game was literally designed for casual players to be done with it in 6 weeks... not for them to take 3 weeks to hit level 50. I believe that the game needs less time-gating and better endgame for more dedicated players, and maybe more time for casuals I guess? Not to mention that letting hardcore players get ahead in a PvE server just means that they're better abled to help out casuals too. All in all, great video brother, it was a really nice watch and I'm glad to see other likeminded people sharing their opinions and voicing their concerns. Wishing you well in regards to your recovery as well!
I missed that feeling so badly with gaming, it was wonderful to feel it again 😂 Yeah that has been a good chunk of hours for me as well, chilling in bases with the few actives that are left and exploring for attachments and loot lol Thats kind of my problem with the phases as well, if they spread all of the quests and sidequests from phase 1 into 2 and 3.. maybe it wouldnt have been so bad but you can FEEL how empty the game is without them when a new phase unlocks. Prime wars have been a joke on my server because of how few are left there and half of our people crash when the boss spawns and then it randomly one hits the stardust thing lmao It definitely is a good game with an insane amount of potential but yeah.. pvp is broken as hell I know people only playing a few hours a week who have smashed through to the end of the phase without trying - i can only assume these vocal casual players are just running around exploring and not doing any quests or spending all their time building or something. I dont even know how they'll balance their hardcore playerbase given the wipes and gating tbh.. i just see them make alts and rush 50 and then occupy the best spots for a base on a new server lol Im glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for your well wishes :D! I wish other people had listened/watched the video in its entirety before commenting but here we are 😂
Unfortunately there are way too many NPCs on the internet unable of even interpreting the title of the video before commenting some dumb shit... probably a lot more still stuck in the honeymoon phase with the game, having it cloud their(hopefully present) ability of critical thinking 💀only a matter of time until all of these things become apparent for them as well, hopefully before the game is dead. It pains me so much that in recent years, every time I see potential in a game I just get hit with an overwhelming sense of dread because we all know damn well that the companies will find a way to fuck it up instead of actually making something out of it 😭but oh well, only time will tell. Once Human's devs have been doing a fantastic job when it comes to receiving feedback, being vocal and open to changing aspects of the game, so, who knows, I'll keep some Hopium in the tank for this one for the time being. Cheers man, take care! 🖤
Keep in mind this game is designed PRIMARILY for a Chinese audience, Chinese devs, Chinese audience. China limits the amount of play time people can have a day without suffering social/legal/financial penalties for doing so. I wanna say its' an hour a day, maybe 2 hours a day they're allowed to play without their Social-Credit-Score suffering for it. Playing as much as American players can wind up with Chinese players losing their jobs, and potentially even facing jail time. It HAD to be built for an audience that could only play an hour, maybe 2 a day, and even then mostly only on weekends.
Yeah that is true to an extent but this is a lot of the reason chinese devs have made a bigger push toward western markets in the past year or two - you can see that in this case at least by how involved these devs have been with western influencers/streamers
@@B.B.G True. They have been very vocal with western streamers and players in general. I am curious to see what they do with that feedback. If it goes well I'll keep playing. If not I'll bounce.
Your free time in the game is a chance to run silos and dungeons again and also look for blueprints, starchrom, mods and deviants that you don't have. Experiment with different gun builds and see how much fun it can be.
But.. it takes about 2 minutes to run any silo and any dungeon Experimenting with different gun builds is also kind of hard when the best guns are locked behind starchrom Mind you i have been doing the 40 lv 3 purifications and prime wars which is arguably the best source of starchrom Deviant hunting isnt exactly fun either especially when you're chasing 5/5s with good traits
@@B.B.G There are more ways to earn starchrom. Like the Season tasks, season goals, journey tasks, prime wars, stellar planula shop, season shop using energy links. There are also a lot of ways to earn energy links fast. Though if your resources are still limited, consider doing a shrapnel socr build or frost vortex build over a burn build. Shrapnel is the best and slaps harder in my opinion and you don't have to hit weak spot when dps if you build it right. Hope it helps.
@@user-fd1lu5tz2z Done it all, and this game is still in a really rough state when it comes to end-game. Prime Wars are just a hot mess with the lag, typically resulting in tons of wasted turret ammo that is already annoying to farm for. The rewards from them are also just a slap in the face considering the resources you need to invest into them. It's alright to just say that this game is not fun in the endgame. The content isn't really even there. In its current state, it's a chat/hangout simulator more than anything else due to how easy the content really is. The devs also do not have any kind of roadmap for the game, either. With how many games this one is trying to be, not having a roadmap leaves us with nothing to look forward to. A lot of us are bored with it.
@@Leprocotic Yes, I agree. The game is still new though. At least one thing is for sure, the devs are receptive to feedback and are working tirelessly to improve the game and give us what we want. That's more than any other studio is providing. The August update is proof of that. We'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out.
