Super League Raw is for the passionate family of supporters of UK Rugby League. It has been designed with the aim of promoting Rugby League for the great sport and community that it is. We believe that the fans have more pride and passion in our great game than those who are charged with promoting the it on TV and at the RFL.
Each week we aim to bring authentic content to the channel. It will not be polished but Raw as the name suggests. We will be talking about the things that the journalists and the commentators try to gloss over. But most importantly we will have fun, be passionate, fair and were possible impartial.
We hope you like our contribution and we look forward to welcoming supporters from all clubs to our line up throughout the season.
Why aren't the green cards used any more? I can only remember a few used a couple of seasons ago. If they were brandished more often would it stop the Acting? On another front, maybe you should conduct your own Oscars at the end of the season for the best (worst) play acting, Drinkwater leading at moment.......
End of the giants game, we could see 13 seconds left on the game timer but shot clock had 22 seconds or something left so there was no rush to form a scrum I don’t think.
Coaches and refs need to stop the cheating - if they milk a penalty and don't need hia, they should be off anyway for an artifical hia - simple. Mikey Lewis's kicking precision is the best I've seen. Wigan centre MOM - his pace and defense won the game.
Happened so many times this season from Stuart “Bream” Pyke. Commentary needs to improve next season if we are to promote the game. Alongside some the visuals you see, O’Brien scored his try and they put up Lachlan Lam’s name🤦♂️
@superleagueraw1398 it's a bit rough being a Broncos fan at the moment with our uncertain future, but one thing is for sure, no one can accuse us of not giving our all. We could have just as easily given up on this season like hull, saved money, and gone quietly back to the championship. Instead, we've made sure people remember this season, and remember that league ain't just a northern thing.
Keep going Dave, not everyone will agree with you all the time and not everyone will maintain their own dignity and common sense. Most Leigh fans agree it was never a red card but was a yellow, I definitely think so. However, I also do not think Trout stayed down to milk a decision, it is not something Lammy would promote or condone and it is not what the Leaopard's is about. The match review panel obviously saw it as serious after a second viewing. Again I disagree with that and Vaughn should have a one match ban, but I am not on the panel and it's up to the people who run the game to straighten it all out.
A worry, Catalan have their new man, Elliot Whitehead joining for next year. His problem for the Canberra Raiders over the season so far he's spent more time in the sinbin than on the field. Is that the kind of player the Dragons want? Cheers, Chris Perry
Dave I’m literally one more of these ridiculous decisions away from turning my back on the game I’ve watched as a match going fan since 1990, I’m in agreement players need to be protected but Vaughan was not deliberately attacking the head there and a game was ruined as a spectacle after 11 mins!! Red was maybe a bit harsh for me. But tbf Vaughan has no reason to go in with the shoulder there. No Leigh player tells trout to stay down, minutes later Lam gets pole axed and then a wire player runs in and hits lam high, more of a red than Vaughan for me. But Moore chickened out on that one. Thought the hughes yellow was harsh but then later got away with one that could’ve been a red too.
I agree it was harsh but no Leigh player said anything to Trout, watch it back. Ipape is closest and he's waiting to play the ball. No Leigh player said anything.
Trout has the right to carry the ball in without getting a shoulder direct to the head. No bend in the back from Vaughan. Obvious red given the way the games been reffed this season.

The Laws of the Game strictly prohibit intentional, reckless or careless contact with the head and/or neck of an opponent. Any such contact shall be deemed Misconduct pursuant to law 15.1 (b). On the Field of Play, such offences result in a range of sanctions starting with on field penalty and going through to temporary or full dismiss Careless contact - guilty
Everybody - If you listen to my analysis I say there was talk of players telling him to stay down which is the basis of these remarks. Also I was very critical of Warrington fans after the sending off in terms of how they were shouting for every tackle to be a penalty/yellow or red. I stand by my analysis as always, just an opinion. Agree Dave it was never a sending off and none of us North Stand Leopards thought it was. Yellow card, yes, red, never ever. However, I don't think Trout stayed down intentionally, he was hit with a shoulder to his chin. Jack Hughes yellow was also a wrong decision as the attacking player threw himself over head first as soon as he felt an arm on his leg. Maybe not as crucial in terms of the result but definitely crucial in terms of RL sorting itself out, maintaining the spectacle and only resorting to cards when absolutely necessary and justified.

Think you're a bit off with this one. It wasn't a red, but there was only 1 player (ipape) near Trout, and his mouth didn't move. No player/coach told him to stay down, and i don't think he 'stayed down' he copped one in the head.
Really feel like you have let yourself down with these comments, i agree it was a harsh red card but there was direct contact to the head from PV shoulder and current rules are awful, but to say people told him to stay down is just wrong, you can clearly see on the highlights not one person said anything to Trout at all but to call him out like that and as good as call him a cheat and not call out Thewliss out who did exactly the same thing on two occasions in the same game is disgraceful.
100%. You can't have balance without mentioning Thewlis who stayed down on far softer contacts, especially rhe Hanley trailing arm. Trout got a shoulder direct to the head from a kick off first tackle hit up, which are notoriously some of the toughest contacts in the game. It would be downright irresponsible not to give him a HIA in that situation. Only 2 weeks ago Trout took a very awkward cannonball challenge that Lafai got banned for at MW and played on straight away so it's not like he's that type of player to be feigning injury anyway.
Burgess acted like a spoilt baby warrington had a player throwing a punch nothing said plus loads of other head shots but nothing to say about it then go back to the reverse fixture where the wire won with a winning try win latent knock on that he didn't comment on refs make mistakes you can't pick and choose which ones to highlight or be upset about
Sorry Dave, you're wrong that Trout was told to stay down. His head rocked back accidental or not. Burgess was hypocritical, when Thewliss clearly did stay down to try and milk a penalty / get an opponent sent off.
As a leigh fan, it wasnt a red, but no player told him to stay down,in fact Edwin wanted to get on with it, being hit with shoulder in the face, must hurt,then there is the hand on his face on the floor .He also went off with a hia later on. On another note dont they have sensors in the gum shield for force contact ?
