I have planted submerged rotala hra in my tank its dirted tank. All the leaves from lower to mid are melting and few new leaves are coming but they are green and whole stem is also green , what should i do ?
Stunning tanks- love all your calm videos- using it as inspiration for my re-scape. I’ve got a big collection of bucephalandra I’d like to put on some wood just like this tank, but I also want to try a Dutch tank since I invested so much in co2 and lighting.. might try a Dutch heavily planted background but a lot of buce in the front..

@@Aquastudio87 I might post my bucephalandra I’ve got about 10 species now. I really like the thinner darker wavy leafs, such as Catherine or Biblis. I’ve also found really good blue coloration from Kedagang but I don’t like how messy the leaves/roots get. What species are you using or do you like? One tip I always recommend that some people don’t know about is that Buce grows faster in the substrate, obviously you don’t wanna plant the rhizome in there but if you can weigh it down glued with some lava rock the roots will eventually grow into the substrate and I found it grows a lot faster if your substrate is good.
Amazing! Is it true just run on APT complete? Because I get green spot algae and green dust algae since switch to APT complete... Some plants new growth is also poor
yes it is just follow the desired dosage, sometimes GSA comes if you have plant mass problem important to balance your co2 and light give them enough Co2 and good lighting
@@Anonymous-ww9se if rotala macrandra red turns into green just leave it maybe the plant is adjusting., or if you want just cut the bottom part the green part and replant the red part make sure to clean your filter and substrate nitrates will affect a little bit to the macrandra to other rotala like bloodred and hra and so on niterate is a big factor
