How do these 2WD Actys handle the snow? Not super deep offroad shit, but post-snowstorm kind of snow on roads? Im guessing they'd do fine versus other kei trucks due to the drivetrain being rear-mid mounted for extra weight over the rear end.
I've driven 2WD keitora in the snow but I don't think I've driven a 2wd Acty. They're going to handle better than anything front engine RWD, and of course snow tires would help immensely.
i drive the same truck it has some small problems, it is noisy above 90 km/h one can not hear the radio almost !!! clearly it is made for in city delivery , mine use 12liter diesel for 100km , it is a back wheel drive wehicle so just be carefull especially in rain with a gaspedal, easily start to oscillate ,we call it " breaking out" from the straight driving direction because the back wheel drive. The outside mirrors are too wide, very easy to break them, we shortened them a lot after breaking several times due the tree branches , doorposts. On the first sign of the keys are start to not opening the doors or not turning the ignition change the whole key assemblyby in the toyota service , it is "cheap" that time , later if it gets stuck very expensive to get it out and change to new. I had to replace the whole steer column for a lot of money for 1 week delay..the key got stuck no way to get it out..
Also in Ontario. Who did you import through and what was your landed/delivered cost? Who is insuring it? My insurer gave me pushback when I quoted a RHD vehicle.
