So, basically Americans pronounce it wrong, even those working for the company, or have they just chosen to Anglicize it? I figured the change was made so as not to confuse with the Apple iPhone, but in that case, just pronounce it the Japanese way with a very soft and airy F sound. I've wondered about this for a while, since our company sells products that can link to Aiphone systems. Thanks!
Hello, I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on how to add an additional phone to our network? We have a very outdated system and use Aiphone Co. KC-1GRD Audio Video Entry Security Intercom. I'm with the United States postal service and there doesn't seem to be any knowledge on this product anywhere. We have two phones with gate activation for truck drivers. I looked at one of the phones and I have no idea about the wiring that's involved.

Noticed the door release LED on the door station did not light when you triggered the action. Is this because you are triggering the option relay for door release, and not the primary?
Hi! You certainly can. In Support Tool, you are able to add a station by MAC Address on the Station Search screen. Alternatively, you could quickly bench the station on an unmanaged switch to ensure your PC and the station are in the same broadcast domain, allowing the search process to function properly, then deploy once setup is complete. Does the IXW-MA need a door station to communicate back to the master to trigger relay. I have a gate that I want to trigger but no station at the gate. Is there a way to release directly from the IXW-MA through the Master(IX-MV7)?

Cool to see that the IX series can trigger a door release proacticely without the communication initiated by the front door module. Is that possible on my GT series system?

I had Ring, Wyze and Simplisafe. The latency of the signal from the door station to the device (my android phone) was usually 20-30 seconds or longer. The aiphone wired door station to master station is instant, and he app is a nice back up when I am away.
