You did a great job on the jacket! What perfect timing for me to come across your blog, as I am piecing together materials to make this very same jacket! However, because I am piecing together my materials, I will be using the lining as the backside of my (quilt). I'm hoping for good results, and that it looks as good as your jacket. I have a long way to go though. I haven't come across many blogs having to start from the very beginning, everyone has managed to find quilts at thrift stores, etc. and are incredibly lucky to find such beautiful quilts! Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed your blog, and love your results! (It gives me lots of ideas, and excitement for my project!)
Thank you so much. This has been my biggest stress with quilting. I become such a perfectionist thinking I haven’t squared it properly and keep cutting away more and more, it actually stops me making quilts as I feel I can’t get it right. This has been the easiest video to follow and I feel like you were in the room showing me one on one, so a big thank you from Australia 🇦🇺
You are so welcome! I am so glad it was helpful to you! Thank you so much for watching my Channel.. I have over 200 tutorials for you to enjoy! Relax, Enjoy, and Happy Quilting! Lori
I simply spray them with a sizing/starch and then press them with a steam iron… I don’t soak the fabrics w/the sizing, just evenly spray them. Hope that answers your question! Have fun and happy quilting!!
Thank you for the video. Your quilt turned out beautiful. My biggest challenge is sewing all those strips straight. I’ll be looking forward to the fall Railway table topper. I have been wanting to make a fall topper also.
i DO think this is one pattern that i can actually accomplish, and i have LOTS of stash to shop from. Thank you for taking the time to share this tutorial for us. God's Blessings.
I learned, that for me, it works well to start stitching at the center and go out, turn the fabric and repeat. The points tend to line up a bit better for me.

I would like to be able to pull up your demonstration of the disappearing nine patch. It was very interesting and I have a lot of squares that I need to use. Thank you for all your informative videos. ❤
