@tinti4507 That sounds more software -related than hardware-related if it's cutting off at an exact time especially if it does it again and again. Might be a good idea to factory refresh the camera and see if that helps although your presets will need to be remade if you were using custom ones. The switch sticking shown in this clip appears to be purely hardware-related, but it won't hurt to try it to see if that will help, but again, I'm thinking yours is probably a software issue.
"It won't get cavities" had me cracking up, great video and great jokes, thanks bud, just got mine thanks to my pops and we're heading out in a few hours
@phillipmount9643 Theory I've heard is that somebody may have hooked them in the back as live bait that got away and then it heals up like that? Seems plausible.
Man, I damn near canceled the order thinking it was a bad idea, but also glad I didn't. Looks real neat in person so can't wait for the bowfin to explode on it.
@Wabes_1 Thanks man! I always binge watch your clips on rainy days to get motivated, and it paid off in this example. I'm petrified of light line and big fish, but this little Lew's reel here has a decent drag on it, and so that helps.
@CBB316 As a question? Not stable enough for me to stand and fish, but with my butt in the seat I think it's pretty stable. I haven't rolled it yet after 4 years and dozens of trips.
@@yaboytee thank u I’m a sit down fish guy. But I have the big fish 105 I use looking at this as a second option fur my wife to fish out if or having a guest go with me. Or brother and sister inlaw borrow them.
@CBB316 Roger that, I mean, I've only owned this kayak and the Pelican Mustang I also review on this channel, but I still like both and enjoy using them, and I'm picky. So I imagine somebody really just wanting to get out and paddle around would like the Yellowfin.
@@yaboytee I appreciate the info basically just paddling around calm, lakes, and fishing has all looking to do. They might go floating the river. I don’t know but as far as me, I’ll only ever be fishing lakes. I do appreciate your information. Have a blessed day.
@leonardo3816 Maybe? I'm not sure that it's fully sealed and intended for salt, but, if it's kept out of the sand and washed down after use I don't think it would be an issue. Not that it matters but when I go near salt I tend to use Penn reels and suggest if you're looking for something to go into salt more than fresh, you may be better off with Penn such as a Pursuit or Fierce model.
Is it possible you can send me a link to those Scotty mounts and transducer mount? There is so many different ones by that brand and want to mount this on my pelican mustang100x thanks and awesome pelican rig
@BrandonHughes-g7m So the mount for the finder with the ducer drop arm is Item #141 and you can get it through Amazon or Bass Pro Shops and other places I'm sure. The low profile plates are Item #440 and I used the 1" version but they have longer ones if needed. But any low profile kayak mount plate that accepts a T bolt will work. Let me know if that helps!
@@yaboytee that works perfectly. Now to order and hopefully get it done right. Not trying to copy your idea but I almost bought a new kayak that had al this when I can just buy these things for mine and it work the way I want and save a lot of money. Much appreciated
@@yaboytee the rod holders are my favorite part of the set up. Never had the idea of doing them there so I don’t have to reach behind me. Do you still use this kayak have done anymore upgrades to it since?
@BrandonHughes-g7m I still have this kayak and will use it occasionally, no more mods though since I like to keep the Mustang as basic as possible. When I need more stuff I use a Vibe Yellowfin 100. They both serve their purpose but I'm still 100% convinced the Mustang is a great option for folks that want to get off the bank and reach spots they couldn't otherwise.
I feel like they're trying to churn out new models faster than they can support what's already out. Planned obsolescence somewhat like smartphones at this point.
You literally left out the hardest part of setting up this exact bait caster? It’s a smooth spool with no holes making it harder to tie off and spool, than those with the aluminum and holes.
I literally just tie a uni knot and snug it down to the spool. You can, too. Piece of cake. Thread the line through the level wind guide and angle it under the spool, push it past and reach down with needlenose pliers to grab the loose end to get it around the spool and grab some slack between the guide and spool there toward the nose of the reel to start the knot.
Sorry to spam.. but I was thinking bout goin back out tomorrow and was wondering if this was around the same place? Or have you fished great bridge locks?
No spam detected! This is a pond not too far from my house, kinda a blown out spot but they'll bite every so often. I park here: 36.8533083, -76.0767700 The Locks is steady brackish and there will be times when the trout and redfish run up and around there. I don't know enough about the salty stuff to recommend anything lure or technique wise. It might be a whole fustercluck tomorrow depending on who's all off for the Holiday.
@@yaboytee gotcha! I appreciate that a ton! And yeah I’ve got a few things for salt I just needa get some live shrimp before I go to the locks I think if I ever go back lol. and yeah I can imagine tomorrow bein pretty hectic everywhere
My man! They're in there for sure! There's more spots you'd probably like, we'll have your people contact my people and get you onto more fish locally.
@@yaboytee I was skeptical to take my yak out there haha but I’m glad I did! Not much wind there wich is great and they are definitely in there thick! But heck yeah that’d be sweet! I’m all for it!
May I ask where this is? I just moved to Chesapeake and tryna find some good spots. Went to stumpy a couple times and had no luck lol. Wish I had someone to kayak fish with here
For sure, welcome to the 757! This is at Pembroke Meadows Lake Park in VB off Independence Blvd. Google Maps can get you there but basically you'll want to get on 64 and then onto 264 East to the oceanfront and it'll be the second Indy Blvd exit heading North and the road that leads to the park will be about 2 miles up once you're on Indy. Lots of spots hidden all over the place. Stumpy is mental torture so don't sweat it if wasn't much going on there. I usually get out on Sunday mornings pending weather and how backed up I am on chores; might could meet up in the near future either at this spot or elsewhere.
@@yaboytee awesome!! I’m not to far from there at all. I’m definitely excited to try somewhere other then stumpy 😂 but yeah that’s about how I am Sundays usually my days off so that’s when I get out too. I was thinkin about going to lake smith today have u been there? And thanks for the reply!
@tylercraig6627 Absolutely, I don't keep secrets so if you see anything I post on this channel, feel free to ask. I've fished Smith off and on since 2002. There are fish, and good ones, but it's pressured so you got to slow down and target structure if you can't get hit on moving stuff. Shaded areas under trees once the sun is up is usually best bet. Once the wind kicks in, they'll stray a bit. Some boat docks but I've never been able to get them other than weightless wacky. Also, keep in mind, Smith and Whitehurst and LCR across the street from Smith technically require a City of Norfolk boat permit stickers. Supposedly they want them on kayaks too. Oceans East tackle shop sells them; $40 for non residents. Might be a military discount. They last for the calendar year you buy them so one bought today expires Dec 31.
@@yaboytee okay sweet thank you! That’s some good advice ima listen to! But oh dang I’m gonna have to invest in a sticker then because I haven’t heard that!! Thanks! Would hate to get out their and kicked out for that little of a thing 😂
