is that polish camo? Did you ever get an American CFP 90 and rework it? I am wanting to rig mine to an Alice frame as well since you can't trust the plastic but I love the bag itself.
bro im disconnected from most new shit. this was my first time experiencing and actual federal closure of things for this and also you had no access to the outside world, i didnt know it was coming up
I had those medic pouches on my piece of shit issued aid bag, just ACU pattern. The bag was alright but the zippers were a bitch. I bought a STOMP bag like a lot of other guys….with our own money lol.
honestly my woodland usgi bag is for smaller stuff or patrols or hell if someone has mildly advanced knowledge, id say at least an EMT-B cert, then i can hand off my aid bag if we need to mobilize a medical assisant and i will take my stomp
Finally a YT video on this bag, I also have one of these bags and the front pouch zipper do get stuck, I put gloves in one of the two shoulder strap pouches and hand sanitizer in the other also waist belt was a issue for me too
awesome! glad others have this bag. i think it became discontinued. please let me know ya set up. i can give you my new discord or insta even. i revcently redid the whole bag with new stuff
Okay Instroctor Zero looking ass, lmao. Do I wear steel? Hell yeah. Does it weigh 21lbs? HELL YEAH. EVERY DAY IS SHOULDER DAY BOI!!! ALSO: spawl coatings and trauma pads work. Just saying. Just because you aren't an APEX Chad that wears 45lbs. Fully kitted, doesn't give you the ability to be an elitist prick. Some of us are poors. Get over yourself.
I have the lbv 88 and just got the same med vest I'm looking for some pouches to put on it just got the same water bladder how did you mount that on your vest love your setup I'm going to do the same great video thanks for sharing
Why do you kids find a fixations on military and police equipment. It's different if you are a historian. I used this Vietnam era crap when I was in the USMC 1987-1991. JUST JOIN THE MILITARY AND YOU WILL CARRY THIS SUFF For FREE.
i like the history behind it, and while using it outside of airsoft, I've grown fond of the alice and m56 system in its entirety. im currently on my way to enlist as we speak. i could care less about getting it for free, the MOLLE system, i try not to use because I've had better experiences with my alice equipment. the only thing i really have for molle is my medic LBV (1999 dated) and medic bag. which are fantastic pieces of gear, but other than that i don't have much molle. i use my gear for many things outside of just airsoft, some of my pieces are because im a collector, some are for work, range practice, reenactment (different kit im working on) some are airsoft only and some are for general purposes that i use for everything, like this belt (has been changed drastically).
1. If your plate is pointed at your neck and groin you are either unlucky or using the armor wrong. If anything you are gonna get hit in the chin and legs. 2. You are shooting the plate without a carrier. The frag is able to freely spray wherever it wants. 3. There is coating you can get on steel to stop spaling. 4. Getting hit with spaling in the leg is far better than getting a bullet in the heart, lungs, and spine. 5. Realistically how many times do you think you are going to get shot in your plate? To me it looks like you unloaded on that steel plate. If you get shot in the chest more than 3-4 time you are doing something wrong. 6. Going off the logic of #5 ceramic can only stop 3-4 bullets before it shatters completely. So either way you're fucked if you are getting hit multiple times. Either your going to get hit by some spaling or your armor is going to be defeated pick your poison.
1. true, but have you considered the femoral artery or when that spalling protection fails from being his more than once 2. once again also correct 3. sometimes not and sometimes it fails. also, another reason is the energy transfer. even with a backer, the energy and force will crack ribs and cause more unseen problems. while the same argument can be made with ceramic, the steel ones have less dampening which makes the bullet go from an entry hole to blunt force trauma 4. yes unless you hit the massive squirter that runs down your legs 5. yeah or the opponent doesnt understand not aiming for armor lol 6. agreed but id rather have the ceramics not shatter my torso first. luckily there's new tech in the ballistic industry where ceramic plates will take more than just 3-4 plates
@@TheBackpackingSailor I have. I have also shot a shit ton of modern steel (and other cheap) armor for work. Shooting uncoated target steel is not comparable.
@@TheBackpackingSailor after the riots a lot of private security contractors in the states have started issuing plate carriers and rifle rated plates. My company did a lot of testing with a lot of different armor that we could afford to issue to everyone. Steel with a built up spall coat is what they landed on after a lot of testing. Sure after a few hits with a .308 the spall coat usually fails, but you're supposed to move your ass after the first hit.
@@TheBackpackingSailor ceramic will get you killed. Even the best stickiest body armor crumbles like nothing after the like the 3 shot of 7.62x39 and the deformation is hilarious. Would love to see it get it by a normal soft tip 300 win mag
Looks like the IDEAL kit I'd wanna bring to a milsim! I might look back at this video to pack my own kit next time I'm planning to attend another Milsim:West game ^^
Very nice! Did you use primer or just paint straight onto it? I'm not sure if I should paint into cloth or paint it on a canvas the cut it and sew it on my vest....
Nice kit - with some glaring missing Items! I'm Assuming Vietnam Era - Early 1970s (ALICE)... M1917 Gas Mask with or without the Standard NBC hood (MOB shroud), and Optional Charcoal Suit! (with Stuff Bag!) The OLD 1917 bag, not the later M40 bag. Oh and Shelter Half. I didn't hear you mention that - But that COULD be inside the Pack? Again Nice Kit! Now - Get it all loaded up! Tomorrow Morning we are going on a 20 mile run!
yes n no. it was what my dad was issued in the 2000s on top of my personal stuff. i have a 1991 kit. this belt has changed so much, if you watch one of my recent videos, youll see. i am actually tuning my belt as we speak. i have the gas mask, i dont link it to my belt cuz its easier to move without it attached. i didnt have a shelter half at the time. the NBC bag i have si used for my ECWCS gear. contents of this pack were filler and gear for the field. if you go to my recent videos, i go into my new buttpack
am i not allowed to take inspiraton from him? i also posted this due to the lack of alice belt set ups ive seen on youtube. my belt set up is personally configured and tailored to my personal needs. i actually bought more gear and an lbv. ill be posting that too so go on n find another link and call that video a rip-off too when i post it
