Is the knk active? Ive felt the soft nanoflex undersaddle pickups are always a bit better than transducers or pressure microphone afairs. Better tone, resonance, sustain and volume (even if non active). The mi si one is sure better after its fully charged?
Thank you for this! I am making an 11 string guitar with peg tuners and they are completely new to me. This is a perfect explanation and will get me started.
You should be fine with putting the string through only once for the wider gauge strings. Updated restringing videos are available on the website: www.myamoeukuleles.com/restringing.html
unless its a guitar bridge, gcea is too tight for a ukulele wc bridge is so weak n tiny. Thats why i only tune all my ukulele to low dgbe. i like low mellow sound. and its easy n softer for fingers also.
You didn't describe how the tension on fluorocarbons compare to other strings. I understand they have higher tension, which to my mind, is less comfortable especially as the ukulele scale length gets shorter.
Super easy to claim, just purchase online ;) As a bonus for being first to comment, I'll include in a free hard case and free domestic US shipping. www.myamoeukuleles.com/ukulele-for-sale.php
I hear you, Ed. Will try to get videos out more frequently and with more info about the ukulele. If you want more details about any instrument you can also check out the UkeTracker on the website: www.myamoeukuleles.com/uketracker.php?trackingNumber=2786
Hi Amy, Mike is an artist who plays a Mya-Moe Ukulele and demos instruments for us, but can't be reached via this youtube channel. He is the director of the Our Music School in Northfield, IL so you might try going that route. The school can be contacted at info@loveourmusic.com

Glad you enjoyed the interview. I'm not sure why you aren't able to access parts 2 & 3, they are both online and set for "public" viewing. Here are links: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Tuv7E0Iarl8.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NkTtO3pK-UI.html
Amazing videos! I know it’s pretty late to be asking questions, but why do you use regular white glue for the joint and rosette rather than a “carpenters” pva like Titebond (also, what brand do you use).
@@MyaMoeUkuleles Wow! Thanks for the quick reply (on an 8 year old video no less). I thought maybe I was missing something with white glue. Can't tell you how inspiring and valuable this video series is. A gift from a truly a generous company.
To me, the uke with the 12th fret join sounded noticeably louder and clearer, which is all the more remarkable because Mango has a reputation for being quieter than Koa. Based on that, I'd choose the 12th fret uke. BUT, given that 14th-fret joints are the current standard, finding a suitable (shorter) case or jig bag for the 12th-fret joint uke is likely to be difficult. On a practical level, that's a downside ti consider.
