Hi! My name's Kat! I'm a registered dietitian nutritionist and I'm on a mission in sharing non-diet approaches that support physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being (i.e. whole health).
There's a time and place for counting macros, but here, you'll find approaches that aren't so focused on the numbers and more focused on the behavior changes associated with long-term health & consistency. No more yo-yo dieting approaches.
I became a customer over 2 years ago and their Reboot helped me to get off odious meds like OxyContin and many more.. also managed to get me out of bed and help my pain… I then joined as an affiliate and have happy customers…their website is cloud based with no join up fee… The products are all natural with no additives.. I am sure that you have done thorough research yourself.
Kat, your levels of ignorance & naivete are staggering, especially given that you fancy yourself as a nutritional "expert". "Borax" is a mineral compound that is taken whole from deposits in the ground from either Turkey or Mojave, CA, and very lighty processed. Boron is included in the borax compound, just as magnesium, along with dozens of other mineral elements, both macro & trace, are harvested from natural sea bed deposits, or like humic/fulvic acids are harvested from ancient organic strata. With your mentality, I would assume that you also believe that Celtic Sea Salt is dangerous for consumers- well do you? You talk about "getting your boron from apples or peanut butter" - well, you should know that apples & nuts can ONLY get boron or any other nutrient from the mineral compounds in the soil that they are grown in! Guess what Kat? Have you ever heard of the concept of "mineral deplete soil"? Well if the plants are grown in soil that doesn't have the natural, BORAX mineral compound in it, those apples will NOT be a food source for boron. That's what the Australian Naturopath, Dr. Rex Newnham discovered from his own experience in eating plant food from both borax/boron-rich AND bora/boron-deplete soils. Additionally, YOUR version of the Australian BORAX (not BORON as you told it) is inaccurate. Australia has ALWAYS been a politically corrupt county that is captured by big business & pharma interests. Just look at how the Eastern provinces handled the Covid fiasco - they ran their populations like Nazi fascists. You also failed to educate your listeners that they can get blood labwork to get their levels tested for sufficiency. Also teach them WHY boron is a very critical element for their health - do you even know WHY it's important? I doubt it... If you take the time to educate yourself, you'll discover the criticality of boron to support the parathyroid glands which are needed to balance the distribution & uptake of calcium in the tissues of the body, especially in preventing the calcifications of soft tissues & leaching of calcium from bones & teeth. If I were you, I'd eat some humble pie & remove this video of yours - it is a lie, a disservice to humankind, and an embarrassment to all knowledgable and truly professional nutritionists around the world. Please put your pride in your back pocket & do the right thing! Cheers
Just met someone into this MLM and having you explain it sooooooo well, I am glad I didn't hang around for their whole pitch!! Thank you for all the hard work and research you have put into this video!
borax is a natural occurring salt. if you do your research on the origin of borax, when it was first discovered, it was found that it cures many ailments and stops inflammation. once the health benefits were discovered by the big corporations, it was deemed “toxic” and labeled as a household cleaner. there are many instances in recorded history where an natural remedy is demonized because it is a threat to the money flow of the health industry.
Take everything with a grain of Borax! It might just cure your arthritis! Do your own research people and use your own discernment. There’s a reason they banned Borax in many countries (gets in the way of ph@rma profits). Now they just use scare tactics to keep you away from it not to “protect” you.
So your education is in dietitian, but you lost your audience when you tried to give an opinion on something your obviously not educated in. Which to most certainly hurts your credibility on your opinion on the products for sure. unfortunately for you and many others in the medical field through the past few years people in general have gotten a lot smarter realizing that there better off getting to the basics and getting away from prescibed medicines. Also in watching this you like many others lead to self promotion!! in other words don't take this but I would do this which in turn helps ME.
Strange though because I've helped many people either reduce or stop taking various meds by the changes we were able to make with evidence-based actions and changes in their labs through Medical Nutrition Therapy. You have a right to your opinion, but I'll continue to help people with nutrition and less meds *and no unnecessary supplements* though, thanks. Also, looks like we're both helping each other. Thanks for the engagement on my channel. 🙂.
@@dietitiankat this isn’t about helping each other. Unfortunately for you and fortunately for many of us we’ve learned when someone gives an expert opinion on something that ends up bashing another company/product etc. and ends with COME SEE ME usually means they aren’t really strong in what they do. With people having access to research on their own instead of hearing and listening to heresay especially since post Covid they have educated themselves on reviews like this. The real proof is in the results, hype only lasts so long but when results start showing bogus reviews like you shared holds no credibility!!
@@steveburkholder4520 I see that perspective, which is why if you look at newer videos, I've taken several steps back from more-aggressive-type takes. I can see how it "usually" means that, but my record says otherwise. As you said, proof is in the results...and if I can help people reduce the need for medications and supplements, to instead get what they need with nutritious foods, then I'm going to do that. I appreciate your response and I think I may have been a little to aggressive with my response. I'm not even fully against supplements. I use them if needed, but I provide my clients with the being sold at cost directly from fullscript and do not take any revenue from supplement sales. Point being, food can play a huge role in health, and while supplements can be helpful, I don't think they should cost as much as they do in MLM structures and I can get high quality ones to clients without them needing to pay more.
Just found your channel, and boy am I glad I did. I have been doing Isagenix for a little over a year now. Not selling, just buying and using. After seeing your video, I will use up the shakes I have (because I paid plenty for them) and not buy anymore....done with it! Thank you for all your research and knowledge, helped me out a lot!!
I would expect that someone with more education, would evaluate this. Basically, reading to people for so much time, while our CDD recommended the jab....thank you for selling hysteria, in my opinion. You cite a reputable source as Web MD, sigh.....
You have no clue what you are talking about. There is tons of scientific evidence and what’s wrong with people sharing their personal experience? Learn from the scientists who work for YL before speaking ignorantly.
Your a horrible person to knock people that are battling a disease or cancer. Who are u to judge what people do, or what they take. She was giving her testimony of her husband. Get a life kid.
I take Unicity and it has changed my life. You're Basically bashing it on it's business model. I can care less about MLM. My doctor even stated that I'm on the right path. It's all about my health. This video seems more personal to Bash Unicity.
I liked what you said about Doctors not taking each supplement they recommend. I also had an OB say to me over 30 years ago, why are you concerned about all natural? Cocaine is all natural and while there are truths in that statement I did not appreciate the unwillingness to look for natural alternatives. With that said I thought more about the statement Dr’s do not try all the medications they recommend. They do however listen to pharmaceutical companies and reports available to them. Doctors also can be “swayed” by the perks given to them for recommending a medicine. Of course not all Doctors do this, but enough do. So, I wholeheartedly agree that Dr’s do not sample each drug they administer, but there are factors that go into what they recommend and they often do not know the ingredients anymore then what you state in this or other reviews of products. I am not trying to be difficult, just show another point of view. I felt you did a fair job, with the knowledge you have in this review.
We have o many videos discussing scamming companies yet ppl listening to doctors are dying by the millions Healthcare is most definitely a scam working 40 hours for 40 years is a scam too ppl ae sick depressed broke dying doing things conventional ways
.......".Orgain LLC and Nestle Health Science U.S. Holdings Inc. have misled consumers about the amount of grass-fed protein in some of its Orgain protein shakes, nutritional shakes and protein powders, according to a class action lawsuit filed Oct. 13 in California federal court."
You may want to look into your microphone or settings, there was a slight whistle on your fricatives (f,s). That said, I find the increasing popularity of hormone focused anything being shilled to be worrisome and it’s nice to see it addressed.
I believe Bodi huns are claiming their cortisol was too high lifting weights, but yoga is what's lowering it. I assume the type of workout wouldn't matter when it comes to cortisol?
They are making claims about cortisol being too high after higher-intensity cardio. The workout program is being promoted as a combination of strength training and pilates-style workouts with 1 day of a short cardio workout.
The whole “you have to try it to have an opinion on it” fallacy doesn’t hold water here, because science is science. Period. Programs like this are bullsh!t, designed to make you dependent on BODi and Autumn Calabrese to stay skinny. When the program is released, I guarantee there will be a component of severe calorie restriction and elimination of a long list of foods. The results touted by reps will be first and foremost about weight loss. And maybe “I have so much more energy and I’m sleeping better” blah blah blah, but anecdotal evidence is not evidence. If you’re truly concerned about your hormones, go to the doctor. Ask for a referral to an endocrinologist. Yes I know that isn’t possible for everyone. But don’t let that make you vulnerable to stuff like this. Please.
One of the things that I am curious about- “partners” potentially using the term, ‘cycle syncing’ which is a trademark phrase. I cannot imagine the headache that comes with trying to manage trademark violations.
Love love love hearing you explain why you don’t need to try something to form your opinion!! That’s the difference between an educated, certified expert and a layperson. And that’s exactly what’s lacking in beachbody. Your knowledge is so valuable; thanks for making these videos!
Being a brother and a husband I had first hand experience watching my sisters and my wife talk about their bodies negatively. They dont anymore, thank God, but it took them a while because of toxic diet culture. Now, they enjoy their cookies and milk without shame🙌
It's fear mongering and ignorance. It didn't start with that article. And the idea that our government wouldn't lie is absurd. Just look at the research on psychedelic therapy and what they did (which they now admit).
Most foods you eat today have roundup in them. A deadly poison. I have been taking borax for 14 years. I now have almost no arthritis pain and my fingers have gone from barely usable to straight. It works. Boron supplements might work but at 1/8 of a teaspoon a day 5 days a week, pure is pure. It also helps a lot of people to fight osteoporosis, but you also need magnesium supplements.
This was very helpful. Thank you. The information you shared on cravings identically matched what my medical team told me as to why I had weight loss surgery but eventually gained all of my weight back.
Was hoping to hear your review because I was thinking about trying some products, but with how caddy you are and putting others down, I had to stop listening. Wish you had just given expert advice without bashing others. You should be more professional
