Unfortunately the question about a release of this recording is handled many step above our heads since we just do the digitizing part. The tape reel itself is a possession of a 94 yr old former arranger and club owner. A gifted an eccentric man. Among other many amazing feats he owned a venue built upon an old barge, that cruised back and forth from central Stockholm to its archipelago to provide music and theatrical performances for both city residents and the people living far out on the islands. You can image google "Arena Teaterbåten" to get a glimpse of it. This Toots jam was recorded on this barge while it was tendered by Grand Hotel in Stockholm. The part where you hear the audience booing is when the man mentioned above says that there's been complaints from "ladies trying to sleep". (He then giggles.) The complaints probably came from the hotel. We promise to get back here when there's any news of a possible release. Allt the best to you!
