I've got the black and white Viper Courts like you review here. I'd been playing pickle ball for several months (I have a tennis, squash, racquetball background) and love the sport. I needed a new pair of shoes for the rotation. In all the months of playing in my other shoes, no problems with my feet. The second time I wore these Skechers I was sliding to my right at the kitchen line my foot rolled, and I broke the 1rst metatarsal of my right foot. Out for about 8 weeks but came back and have been playing for several months with no problems. This morning my regular shoes needed to air out and I'd left my backups at the office, so I grabbed these Sketchers for the second or third time since my accident. I was sliding to my left at the kitchen line, my foot rolled, and I broke the 1rst metatarsal of my left foot. These shoes are sized right and laced properly; I have no proof it's the shoes but find it very suspicious that I play literally hundreds of games wearing three other pairs of shoes without a problem, but in 2/5 times I've worn these I've broken my foot... and in exactly the same way. I do think the lateral support sucks and have thrown this pair into the trash can.
I'm looking to purchase this product. But correct me if I'm wrong, at about 1:20 you mention a "half button" (1/2), and you quickly describe it as "giving a little bit reminder". I am assuming you mean that it would send a "half power" shock. But isn't that button to switch between the two collars? And if so, how can you tell which collar (dog) you are correcting? Does the number (1 or 2) come up on the display? Thanks!
You know what would be great with this kalimba? A set of metal tines or pins arranged on a rotating drum. As the drum rotates, small protrusions or pins on its surface pluck the metal tines, producing musical notes. The drum could be powered by an electric motor or a wind-up mechanism, which causes it to rotate and play the notes in sequence! I'm a genius.
What type of floor do you have these mats on? I am looking to buy some but not sure if these will do fine on carpet flooring. Thanks for the review btw!
