Yeah, the 7th Gen I'm always working on is still on skunk 2s. This one looks like it but isn't it though. We're planning to get the wrap done on it and install more mods soon!
Could have scraped off three jagged stripes so it’d look more Jurassic Park-y with the red showing through 🤪 Part of me says just paint the hood matte black or whatever you did to the gas flap, instead of doing another wrap and hoping the heat doesn’t peel it off again
That would have been cool! A Jurassic park themed Crv would be amazing! I was thinking maybe black center and gray sides would look good too. I kinda wanted to go with black but my wife convinced me that matching gray would look cleaner lol
@@Jdmforall Have considered something similar for mine with the black center of the hood… my 05 is white too so it would be somewhat practical. They sell those hood mounted solar panels you can hook up as like battery tenders, but not sure how gimmicky those are in reality
Terrible platform, terrible generation, lowering them puts strain on the suspension components. There are not worth wild mods for the d17. In fact the only ways to mod it is to k swap it. The interior is the cheapest feeing interior I have ever seen Honda make and the stock transmissions are trash witb the notorious loss of second gear
Looking awesome, love the stance. The second Gen is such a great vehicle all round... As you mentioned the engine is fantastic and long lasting. Yea paint the wheels black, when I did that to mine it looked so much better....
This was actually a big help, I tried the remove the chip method (destroying the chip in the process) so this has cleared up that yes I can simply get a new ECU and reprogram with the old ignition too
My power steering is as low as yours and also has a slow leak right now lol , should I drain it out , or just let the leak flush out all the old fluid ? Is it bad to mix the 2 fluids (old and new )
It's not bad to mix old and new. Unless you are fully draining the system, it's going to happen. If you have a leak it's going to flush out the old fluid anyway lol
hello J4A, is this all you did for installing a lip for a em2? Just clean, sand,then spray paint? How did it hold up?Also which grit??Please and thanks. I just want to color match the lip as cheap as possible !
I am driving an 03 my wife inherited recently. It is SO FUN to drive. 85kmiles mint condition. I sold my 2023 fully teched out hybrid. Never looking back, so fun rolling through the mountains.
@@jamusmorrison3073 the 6.7L cummins motors on these trucks are really good though.. the only thing that needs to be changed from stock is the grid heater, because of the issue where that one bolt can sheer off and drop into cylinder #6 and cause total engine failure
