All Shosanna had to do in this movie was say "you seem like a nice guy, but you have to understand, you are literally a soldier in an army that killed my uncle and is occupying my country, so I think you can understand me not wanting to talk to you" and I feel like he would have left her alone.
LOL ridiculous script writing. A sniper in a bell tower kills hundreds of soldiers over three days, and doesn't get noticed and attacked by the enemy? This is totally stupid and implausible, and only Tarentinto could get away with such nonsense.

There was a point where she was interested in his story; you could see it in her expression. But he overplayed his hand. Only a fool would believe such a tale.
Every time there's a video of Shosanna and Frederick, some comments will defend the literal Nazi who can't take No for an answer. Shosanna is a Jewish woman whose whole family was murdered by another Nazi who is chummy with the Nazi who is after her. Y'all can't expect her to cut him some slack. Her people were being genocided.
Good movie all around ,i give movie 9 out of 10 but it is very boring at times but the the movie is good because the it shows mercy sympathy and trust within the nazis and american troops,tarantino is a very smart man

I actually started feeling bad for this guy until the end when he shows that he isn't some gentleman and was instead about to attack her for not reciprocating his advances. Before that, I just thought he was a good guy from Germany that was following orders and not like the SS that was just ruthless. What a lot of people don't realize is that the German army was not the same as the SS. Only the most brutal, murderous soldiers were picked to be in the SS. Turns out, this guy was a German soldier being groomed for the SS and he was making an impression.
