My name is Matt. I'm not really a Gym Leader. I currently enjoy doing solo runs of Pokemon during my free time, mainly focused on Generation 1, sometimes Gen 2, and putting future Pokemon in past games..
Still catching up with the older videos but I was REALLY curious about the new one and holy DAMN. Watching the older videos does make me appreciate all the more the effort you put as you went further, learning the coding, editing the intros, the rank system using TCG-like cards, the soundtrack variety (especially the GBC TCG stuff!)...And the hiker Anthony edit killed me. Top shelf comedy and commentary, really. And it was nice to see what those two are TRULY capable of in gen 1 as Sanqui didn't count. A slash-like move with STAB made quite the difference...Palkia out there space rending asses. While I can't send more likes than one (and I wish I could), for all that it is worth, I really appreciate your dedication. It is very clear you put a lot of passion into this stuff, considering you are still going even when you are juggling other things at the same time.
I'm so glad to see a video, also the pokemon selection was legendary (lol). I'll always be here even if it goes months without uploads. Keep tackling life, even if it body slams you in return.
Another very solid final time for a Sanqui run, but if this truly was your last one of them, gonna be eager to run into the proper backported runs you did! EVENTUALLY I will be running into them, after all.
Didn't expect things to go THAT smoothly before E4, not a single reset is very impressive especially when it is so slow and with those common x4 weaknesses.
I feel like that power that both Pokemon have shown is great. Still like dialga more(maybe because of the TCG, got me second in a big tournament) but great video. Always love the cross gen runs. 😊
I'm the opposite. I grew to hate Dialga from PoGo pvp lol. It's such a dominant force when overall bulk and things like that are taken into account. Draco Meteor doesn't hurt either lol.
I would wager that quadruple resisting normal-type moves, resisting psychic, and being entirely immune to poison would be quite handy in Generation 1! XD
What are your thoughts on it? My blanket thoughts are that if you only allow a single, low level, no move Pokemon into the fight, you are handicapped to the point to where this fight will demand all of your resources in some way, shape, or form. Whether it be extra training, candy usage, or forcing you to use HP dark/ghost in nearly every run. At least you have some slight variance under these rules to allow more flexibility. Doing Tate/Liza to me is almost as bad as allowing Double Team in a gen 1 run or Curse in a gen 2 run. It just funnels strategies and makes runs too same-y.
Another case of good type but very unfortunate starting moveset. Also I would be lying if I didn't say the first turn crit hyper beam is a funny thing, especially when it happens so often against that same Gyarados.
Ha, 2027 is a long way away but I doubt I could even be at 30k by then. 100k sounds impossible and unless some miracle happens to where I can devote more time, I don't see it grown much but 20k is within reach after years!
Ok, wow. I was hoping Palkia would win, but had my doubts. I completely forgot about the high crit mechanics in Gen 1, so I had no idea one move could lead to a 1.5 minute swing. Great video, as always, GLM. I was really hoping to see something come out soon, and this gave me my fix
Real one! Another great video! As other comments have said, thanks for putting out great content while balancing family and school. Wish the best for both channel and personal life and hope school pays off.
I can't stress how insane it is that you're still getting these out while you've got this much going on. I appreciate a lot. Great runs btw. Palkia forever!
Love your work GLM! We’ve been watching you for years and never miss a video 😊 thanks for still uploading even with a packed schedule atm. Love from Australia 🇦🇺
