Is it possible to make double(or triple) wall for more protection? If it’s going to be a static space station, I think the weight of putting more walls as defense shouldn’t be a problem. Then use the Dart for doing your piracy’s stuff. Idk but that station could be the first “pirate island” and maybe gather some other fellow pirates in there
yep. Do not build long ships. They get cut in half too easily. Build like you build a base. With the knowledge that fire will come and hammer your walls.

Hey I had a think of something that could be lore (sorry if it's worded wrong). Captain Udo, tired of loosing friends to the unsc. Wether it be through the UNSC themselves or their bounty, begins to plan. Plans to plunder the best treasure of all, revenge on the Oni officer (or council) who caused the deaths of his friends and first mate. Even if it's never used I do hope you enjoy the idea.
I really am enjoying the space side of this play-through, RIP pirates though. I love SOS2 and hope you play more of it in the future! I do have a potential playthrough suggestion incase you don’t have any ideas but it will be very long. The end-game royalty quest will actually continue if you have save our ship installed. So what if you did a royalty themed playthrough where you had to become nobles and host the stellarch while battling deserters and other nefarious factions, then continue in space and try to establish a galaxy wide empire. Kinda like that video where you were attempting to establish the shattered empire on the dead world with void awhile back.
Lore idea: UNSC and bounty hunters attacked the Reaper one after another, because attacked pirates striked deal with UNSC to spill the water over ships estimated orbit for resources to rebuild, so UNSC sent a fighter, bounty hunter destroier and a torpedo boat to end it for sure, fortunately the Indomitable Pirate Spirit endured that battle
If you do manage to capture another ship, or even decide to rename either the station or your current ship, name it Zap Zap's legacy. Another ship name I can think of is Udo's fist, fury, etc...
Praise be to Zap Zap, First Mate fallen in a glorious Void Battle And i think building A.D.A.M. could be an interesting ark, much more than just buying it
In terms of how the threats are escalating, I think I understand what's happening. The bounty on Cpt. Udo and the Marauders is specifically being hosted through a sort of third party Bounty Association. As the crew keeps taking out more dangerous bounty hunters and UNSC ships, the reward for their capture, or indeed death, increases. However, so does a sort of "danger rating" on their bounty. As that rating goes up, the amateurs stop going for the bounty. I pray for the crew's safety when the Old Timers eventually show up.

After the battle with the corvette Zapzap Talk to the Caption and suggested to take over or build a space station for better deafens and " a port in the storm " against bigger ships and safer for the Baby But the Caption said " Running from the bigger ships is better and safer for the Baby" but then the Bounty Hunter Destroyer came and prove Zapzap wright and the Caption wrong
Hear me out, make a big circle ship with a hollow center that is a ship only connected by bridges as an escape vessel that uses the whole ship as extra armor to buy it time. This will also allow you to put the vulnerable colonists (such as babies) there and maybe have them escape if the need should arise [you might also put the ship ai and some power there if you don’t end up getting the build-able persona cores]. I am totally behind you being able to make persona cores too, since you can make a space ship; have technology available to the empire (who probably make persona cores), made a mech that have task programs (dumb ai) and have made a holo deck which can (theoretically) emulate sentient beings. If you want a lore reason on why you can make the persona cores now instead of earlier, you raided the archotech ship infested with the flood, briefly looted the contents and some documents and the papers got misfiled due to the party life style common of pirates BUT after the ship was predominantly destroyed in the tragic fight, the crew were reclaiming their own resources and came across a shining light in this pyrrhic victory and that is the blueprints necessary to make the valuable persona cores needed to rebuild! P.S. Side idea: build 4 or more smaller rectangular ships that are 4 layers thick with docking ports and a single shield generator as movable shields (not like in combat but as post/pre battle barriers (pre-battle in the raiding aspect)
I believe it's been mentioned by other people, but it's worth remembering that building comically long ships isn't advisable as they become easy targets and are more challenging to defend. Increasing their width, making them bulkier, is generally better. Anyway, I'm loving the series, keep up the good work!

What about eventually making a pirate space station? You could say it's New Port Royal, or Tortuga, and then turn it into the most wretched hive of scum and villainy on this side of the rim.
Rat Knight, this is not an offense, but that ship is not only a mess but her appearance is not threatening as well, maybe is a good idea to land somewhere and rebuild it with two or three layer hull (see that this destroyer have a two layers) and a form that fit the shields, and the crew need some implants as they are lost more and more people and the enemies are coming in large numbers.
i like to think that being buried right next to an anima tree means that Tiny is always slightly “There” in the back of the pirates minds (especially jingles), a beautiful memory or a kind guiding hand when they need it the most, a psychic remnant gifted by the anima tree.
