I am no economist but American Debt-to-GDP (>700% in 2023) is so huge if we were to measure their success on it SA (70% in 2023) would be doing better. It is a useless indicator if viewed alone without a real look at what the borrowed money does.
Your self inflicted crunch is knocking at the door. Thanks to corruption which has hollowed out institutions and your sugar daddy`s(tax paying business and people) are leaving the country. As long as you vote for incompetent leaders, this fairy tale will go on, and nobody is going to live happily ever after for a very long time. Good luck!
How are ordinary people watching the goverment literally running off with sofas full of stolen loot whilst insisting they're exceptional BRICS members, all while the power grid shuts down 23 hours a day? Southern Africa is rich in resources, brain power, global position and culture, yet they're cheering for the very people laughing at them as they steal their wallets. From the outside looking in it seemed ridiculous to compare things to Zimbabwe. Now they're racing to the bottom and only loosing because Zim got a head start.
In your time in government you have destroyed SAA ,SA Post,SA Railways, , Dennel, , Eskom, Infrastructure, Jobs , The Rand , Safety and security , foreign exchange ? Yet you call Greece a genuinely failed state ? Just explains that all you are is a puppet of your corrupt masters .
You pathetic mampara you call Greece a genuinely failed state tells me you have no idea what you are talking about . You and your government in 30 years in government have destroyed everything you inherited , just look around you and you will understand . Greece has been a civilization for 4000 years brought democracy, medicine, mathematics, astrology, physics to this world . What have you brought ?
Corruption is rife in all sectors of government , crime levels are out of control , Infrastructure is crumbling , load shedding is severely effecting the country, the rand is losing value , your government has failed it's people , poverty is rife , unemployment is at record levels . So please explain why this is not a failed state . You are just a puppet of your incompetent masters .
We gonna change the narrative and Malawi will be one of the richest countries on earth by 2060 and it's possible to grow over 20% per annum however we need to be vigilant, Lilongwe alone has two of the biggest rutile and graphite mines in the world valued at over $100 billion to trillions of dollars, with an annual budget of less than $4 billion the economy should be easy to turn around as it's possible to generate a profit of $6 billion plus per annum. What we need is people who understands how the market works, since we are still an infancy when it comes to mining we can utilize contract mining and the use of autonomous mining technology. I've just given an example of Lilongwe but each district in Malawi is capable of sustaining themselves using there own minerals. Apart from the rutile and graphite Malawi has Niobium, rare earth, lithium, uranium, bauxite, beryllium, lead Galena, iron, copper, gold, rubies sapphires grandidierite aquamarine spinel tourmaline Zircon and many more, all these could be worth quadrillions of dollars. Personally l will make sure this economic boom starts happening as early as 2025. As one a graduate gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America GIA, one of the only two in Malawi,a cadastre system expert and a miner l say the future of Malawi looks bright, show us the markets, share the technology and we shall all benefit. Great presentation
1:01 My Mom and Dad don't even spend their time in email inbox. All of their contact lists, colleagues, schoolmates, family relatives rely on WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger. Their Younger ones rely on the latter ones mentioned, including Snapchat, Tiktok, RU-vid, etc. They use emails like grail only to connect their Google account to their Android device.
Mining gold only works when you have the capital to mine it on such a scale that investors make profits these investors have taken out their capital thanks to the "cultural" revolution during the 90s and late 80s let's be honest there is little to no industrial capacity in any significant form except coal left
They seem to have failed to prevent the vervets from making off with all the loot taking all peoples happiness away for there own selfish and wasteful lives, Vervets love to do everything the tv shows them, vervets in silk is vervet no less
Funny J&J actually didn't want to do anything until one of the Head Honchos of the Health Department of Chicago said they would do a recall, so they had to. They had no intentions to recall anything, they were almost forced into it
It may be true that they were pushed into it, but once they were, they went all in and didn't go half baked or only the bare essential of what they had to do. They recalled everything in the area, then when new poisonings happened, they recalled all Tylenol and had constant updates. The Head guy made an apology and they revamped all packaging, had a 1-800 line and used the press for all future updates. There have been many drug scandals since, where people died and the companies covered it up until far too many people died. Whistleblowers that tried to speak up got fired and harassed. There are still drugs out there, where people don't really know the risks. So I still have to hand it to Tylenol for handling this so well. That's why it's still made a good example of to this day.
