I'd have loved them to have interviewed Princess Marie Louise. another real Royal Character. I read her book " My memories of Six Reigns" which HM The Queen Elizabeth encouraged her to write.
She seemed a little less intimidated by the interviewers. She was jolly and funny. No stiff upper lip! Glad to have seen in this film, she was witty and super fun to speak to. A tiny bit of history, because she lived it and was there in person.
No legs at the end was creepy Maybe it has something to do with shutter speed. Allow fragments of what is light. Through the visible spectrum. That otherwise our eyes can not detect
I do believe in paranormal residual energy. Ive encountered a hateful shadow person in the winter of 2008 it changed my life. However, this particular photo is actually a trick of lighting i do believe. Imo were seeing rock whichbis padtvof the structure. Its illuminated by natural sunlight & with thst particular angle/lighting has given illusion of a face. We also subconsciously make out human faces/caricatures. Our brain literally tricks itself/us. But who knows I could be DEAD wrong. 2 things worth noting, the so called "ghost" face actually resembles the stone in which structure is made from. The color, texture ect.
I imagine Queen Mary also had a lot of similiar memories of Queen Victoria, that were only shared in private with HM Queen Elizabeth II. And we'll never know what was said.
Not all of the VJ day scenes were from New York. The shots of the drunken sailor trying to kiss the girls in convertibles were taken on Hollywood Boulevard in California. There is a red Pacific Electric suburban car of the 600-750 class in the background, which makes the footage instantly recognizable . Charles Seims
When I was in 6th grade, i saw the mummy of John Torrington and he gave me nightmares. Now I think about how sad it must've been for his family. They didn't get to say their last goodbyes. Honestly exploring in freezing conditions is a really bad idea. RIP the 2 of them. I'm sure of one thing, once my time comes, and I go to heaven, oh I can only imagine the stories I'd hear from some of my favorite historical figures.

I worked here 88-90, never experienced anything but it was creepy. I used set up the Long Gallery for conferences during the evening. When heading down afterwards I never looked behind me and rarely waited for the lift😅Robbie was great to work for and a respected Falklands veteran.

Princess Alice was as sharp as a tack, even at this advanced age. I wonder why the Royal Standard was not draped over Queen Victoria's coffin? We all assume these so-called traditions are centuries old but clearly not. I also hear a close similarity in both the accent and the cadence of the speech of Princess Alice and of her cousin, Louis Mountbatten, even down to a slight slurring of certain sounds (as in 'ver[y]') that must have been the aristocratic way in the early 1900s.
I had an "experience" at this hotel in the early 2000's. I don't believe in ghosts but something happened that night that has given me chills ever since.
