@@rebeccatiedman2831 yes they do, it is not in-depth. They just take images using a camera. ( they have you bite down on an object while they take the impressions of your teeth )
@@tanzzyi6198 do you know of anyone getting disqualified for their teeth? Im worried because I have all 4 wisdom teeth and I have a double tooth which the double tooth will definitely be noticeable on an impression But looking at my outer teeth and smile they look “normal “
I’m currently working as a teacher at a charter private school because God called me to teach but can I do the preclinical on WGU while working full time?
I have sinus issues and my nose gets stuffed pretty bad. I alleviate it with AYR ( salt water rinse) I am suffering through the idea of not breathing through my nose for 10 weeks 😭😭😭
@@Nevernormal790 it’s definitely a possibility that they won’t allow you to have it . I would bring it and put it with my toiletries. At the very least they might see that your nose is stuffed and allow you access to your personal bag. You could also get a prescription and she’s how that goes .
I’ve watched all your military videos! I just had my ship date and basic changed :( now fort sill and in January… I’ve also heard sooo many say bring nothing even and my recruit sustainment program… I’d rather follow what you said about what to bring but I’m curious of when and how you they decide what you can keep. I know they do the amnesty check but when do you get to take things you brought and have them with you or transfer to your big duffle? The process of your bag getting locked away and what you can keep/when is a little confusing. Older as well 37 and so upset about going in winter now, I have good socks (military) and wondering if I should bring or have them shipped with other things Thank you so much for your videos!
@@tanzzyi6198 thank you! I rewatched it! Helpful again, still just not sure if when you can keep the stuff you bring once you get to basic after reception. Can you put stuff in your army duffel after they go thru it? I just heard many saying they couldn’t even have their sport bras or under shorts etc, even if they matched the requirements:(
@Tanzzy please I will appreciate if you create a time and answer these questions. 1 - is Fort Sill a friendly environment? Do they allow trainees to use their phones on weekends? 2- Do they process citizenship for those who are not citizens? 3- Is it ok to mail my naturalization paper work to USCIS before going to Basic training? ( My recruiter told me that I the commander will approve naturalization documents then he will return it to me then I will fill N400 form and mail it to USCIS )
@@magab4395 Hello I’ll link one video about Phone for you : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JsJnpDAJcIA.htmlsi=WNf-zQFJuXl7Stvp Please take some time to look at other videos in the army enlistment playlist. About the environment. I am not sure about the naturalization process but I do know that several people who were in basic with me were going through this process . Your recruiter will be the best person to answer those questions.
Did you delete your "Idea list for basic training" from your Amazon storefront? It's gone. I know you said they don't allow women to wear boxers, but what about boyshorts(like the boxer briefs made for women)? Also, thank you for making all these Army preparation videos and for being so candid in them. They have been very insightful, reassuring, and helpful. Sorry, your experience wasn't better at basic training.
@@Phi81music thank you for letting me know , I did not delete it but I don’t see it ! I’ll fix it at my earliest convenience. You can purchase boxers from the pX if you prefer that style of undergarment ( if you are a women ). Of course they allow men to have boxers of the appropriate color .
Hi my son is heading off to basic training soon. He doesn’t want to take the covid vaccine. But he read online that they dropped the mandate on covid vaccine. You mentioned they willl give it to you regardless. Is this still true for 2024. Hope you see this and reply thank you
@@magab4395 for the most part. But the questions that were the same you had to get the same answer. So if you got it right on the picat you had to get it right again, if you got it wrong you had to get it wrong again.
@@milehigh-familyman641 Short answer : yes Long answer : you can but they will definitely try and rehabilitate you there first. So if that is getting you the surgery that you need they will preform it while you are there. The process is long and most people end up signing a waiver that says the issues existed prior to service just to go home.
This video will be helpful for you I talk about phone time and stuff like that ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JsJnpDAJcIA.htmlsi=8jRy2x3_Vv53Q254
Leaving for the Hotel tomorrow! And shipping Monday! Thank you for calming my nerves and of course the valuable info! Going to Fort Jackson (June 24th)
