Thats a good question. The story was based on the overall themes we find in many Japanese folk (any folk tales really) that can have different versions depending on region. So the open ended interpretation was something important to preserve. But a longer film will allow space for more story.

One problem You should have to get permission and pay the the real actors your AI recreates also they should pay the families of any deceased actors your AI copies to bring back like Gen. Hammond ect.
