I received the Cavalry Kickstarter figures in late June 2024 here in the UK. Two issues for me were the carbine attached to the sling isn't big enough to go over the left shoulder of the figure as it should and wasn't meant to be detached from the sling, so posing with it is unrealistic. The Junior Officer didn't come with the rank shoulder straps like the Major General. I asked Chicken Fried Toys about it and was told oh well basically.
The figures are in a weird scale that doesn't scale with really anything else but it's due to them being made to scale with the cars they were putting out for the movie, which weirdly themselves were slightly out of scale to the figures but really decent quality. Been on and off looking to find the larger ones they didn't make figures for in decent-ish condition for a good price because they surprisingly scale with and fit 6 inch scale figures. listings pop up every once and a while but it's apparently never when I'm checking lmao. EDIT: Should probably specify the cars these figures were meant to go with also came with their respective driver, these smaller sets and the vehicles in them like the bike in this one didn't even appear in the actual movie. There's like only four figures in these IIRC that didn't come with the actual cars from the movie.
Great video. Still would like to know if the horse armor on the head and back of the neck can be easily removed or is it glued on? Basically, Is it possible to make these horses look like the previous version from the neck up? I just want to keep all the stuff that is mounted on its back but get rid of shields from the neck up without affecting the reins, headband and noseband.
@@AwesomeActionToys That is a pity because I just wanted the horse with the rolled up blanket and the holsters etc that are mounted on its back. With only that the horse could easily pass for a contemporary horse. But not with those shields. Thank you very much. 👍
Excellent video and review of figures and horses. These will all join my Jianghu universe. Thank you Adam for reviewing my favourite range of figures. 15:01
They look cool, but I don’t think I can get any action figures for a while cause we’re moving into a new apartment and I can’t believe how much action figures and collectibles I have. Call me the collector.😂😂😂😂😂😂
I LOVE this channel! The Infinity game grabbed me just by how AWESOME the figures/units/characters looked... How would you rate the plastic on these guys? I was hoping that Joy Toy would be upgrading their plastics over time as they grow with more and more success.
Nice figure and nice video 😊. One question, does the product come in a sealed package or have stickers or a sealed plastic cover or bag that indicates is new?
They look "heroic" scale like the miniatures. I got a couple and was really disappointed with the articulation and look next to other 1:18 figures. The paint apps are good at the price point, but the joint are so bad.
