Now a days it is a fashion amongst UAe based you tubers to rubbish migration to west while promoting Dubai ( it is funny those who promote Dubai don't even promote UAE it is a country is it not?) any way , UAE has it's advangtages depending upon your background / education and what stage of career , however until today there is no PR so it is unfair to compare it with Migrant countries like AUS/ Canada/ NZ , One can compare Dubai with Muscat or Doha .... total marketing hype
On one hand you say London or NY should not be compared to Dubai and in the same presentation you rubbish them as crumbling, Dubai should be compared to Abu Dhabi or Doha or Manama
Agreed that the Dubai govt as done a great job promo0ting itself , Ok so you build infra.. great but with a transient population ( No PR) how can it be a long term play? it is just flip flip like a MLM Make Hey while the sun shines! If GFC happens you got to get out of the country.... where as if you are in Canada or AUS you loose your job you stay ! sure you wont have same saving as UAE but you can stay with some certainty
31 years , 51 years 71 years You cant get PR .. so you invest in the "City" (not even the country) but at the end of the years you go to GO .. + the Real Estate bubble , and it is not expensive? you got to be joking , agree high on safety / low tax ( indirect tax) etc
NO PR is big Drawback as compared to skilled migration to western countries ( this is obviously from a perspective of a South Asian Migration aspirant)
Whatever, most people who have money were born into it. Otherwise they usually do some barley legal scam, or an illegal scam. These people are garbage people. And a million dollars over a 10 year period, is pretty much broke these days. Thats only 100k a year. I make more than that, and im just barely above poverty
Precisely. When my friends tell me the god honest truth in a comedic way, that isn’t bullying, that’s them telling me something I need to hear, not what I want to hear.
Its like saying Russian roulette is save bc everyone you know that have tried it is alive, I lost a friend bc of this, so no, its sad seeing people like u
In my opinion, Dubai , does not face an economic bubble, because of the ever expanding nature of Dubai(ex. dubai 2040 urban master plan). On the time that Dubai will stop expanding(or on the time that a particular economic sector of dubai will stop expanding), then Dubai will face a major or minor economic crisis, that may impact(short or long), the rest of the economically developed countries.
Condomageddon. GTA edition. Everywhere I drive around the GTA has a condo building going up. My little town has two of them going on. Along with one that just finished and a purpose rental. To say we over built is an absolute understatement. Canada is so screwed.
I’m overweight and was wondering why they always checking around my stomach area, now I know 😭🙈🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, I’m definitely not hiding food, I ate it all 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
