Hi everyone! I upload a lot of awesome tennis content: stories, fun facts, previews, analysis, player breakdowns, what-ifs, etc. I hope you enjoy the channel!
i remember some WTA player that recently said in a instagram question/answer session that a match is a match and its normal that you do everything for the win. for me ostapenko is maybe the most entertaining person, and thats one of the reasons im a fan of her. its really much more fun watching her rather than one of those players with a ice-cold-face who even cant smile or shout out "come on" after a good point. besides of that, ostapenko is also a nice person - for example at kasatkinas girlfriend videos shes often in and interviewed and she is humble, honest and polite.
The #1 forehand is Del Potro!¡ and Im gonna say my arguments; when he cone fron injuried he has no backhand; the oppossite of all members of the big 3 and 4 that all of them has their backhands in perfect conditions; Del Potro not!¡ And beat all of them many times just with his forehand with a very weak backhand and most shots from that sidr with an slice
The commentator is sexist when he says that women cannot get pumped up and fist pump … newsflash … the men do it all the time, scream, run around the court during points … and that’s okay? It would be boring if women didn’t show their excitement on court.
mixing men's/women's is just idiotic. Men's tour is infinitely harder and they play longer matches. Not having Nadal's 2010, Novak's 2011, Roger's 2006/7, give me a break brother lol. Terrible
Gunter Prache is the most important man for Steffi Graf's career . Monica swept her easily few times in finals before attack . Graff should make monument to her fan boy Gunter Prahe . This is truth - so help me god !
If bandaging, a wrapping or band aid, Water, banana, Gatorade, sugar, WON'T DO IT, personally I'm against it. All these Technological and Medical Advances they didn't have 50-60 years ago, shouldn't be allowed today. If you get cramps, or blisters, or your hand, back, Knee, elbow, Foot hurts, OH WELL then so be it, That's part of the game, you tough it out or bow out. Part of the game is the endurance and stamina component. Wearing your opponent down is part of the game, if then He/she can take an Injection (invasive procedure), that defeats one of the purposes of Tennis. What's next? Suspending a Match because one of the players suffered from Dehydration because he/she didn't take care of their body?
Athletes can be entertaining when they are sore losers and ungracious winners. They’re competitors. But we can also admire those with poise, stoicism, and self-control. Sport is big enough to offer both and everything in between. Besides, its really the story we want, the struggle, the glory, the pain, the humour, the human frailty, the awe inspiring strength. Bring it all on, I say.
I think the sports person is been used by the organised tennis bodues to be znle to avoid taxes abd its non payments of monies owed. It makes no sense. Byt the hude if ctime ahund especialky hunters of younf eomen and young men to skavery sex abd crines abd ti engance greater crimesbwars isctgis no taxes . The top executive noard and bolinteers the writing off of monets debt appljcations abd wmerc is this . The punidhmentbis debates explaing spptrs is criminal
3 months ago when you published this video Djokovic had more weeks as number 1 than Graf which you forgot to mention. You mentioned only for Graf the number of weeks at number one as if she were a record holder. Graf is forgotten because she is the queen of weak eras with old Navratilova and Evert and stabbed Seles. Beating Zvereva with double bagel says it all. Because of that I think you should make different videos for men's and women's tennis because it is not the same. Putting Federer and Djokovic last behind Court and who won 11 AO when only Australians competed there is nonsense. Men's tennis is more competitive and more difficult to win a GS.
For me, it's Danielle Collins. LOSTapenko is a good choice though. If we could bring retired players in to this, I would throw Caroline Wozniacki in this conversation. What a tnuc when things were not going her way.
I suspect Ostapenko's being overweight is tied to her being so much in the ego. She is an incredible tennis player capable of achieving much more than she already has. She needs to shed her ego and I'm pretty sure her extra pounds will go with it, paving the way better movement, performance, and of course, self-esteem!
in the last 2 months she shed 20 lbs and is now wearing proper tennis clothes instead of the minnie mouse outfits that her blind granny dreamed up! i dont think her manners improved though...
her ego comes from her mother letting her get away with WAYYY too much as a kid and it now shows up as arrogance as an adult. rather unbecoming...@@DariusSarrafi
@@thecarter8700 Sorry to hear that. It’s evident she is carrying a lot of stress. She has tics. Hope all changes for her. She is a magnificent tennis player.
Feds forehand is very basic, but very effective. Del Potros flat forehand should be number 1. That's the most jaw dropping shot in the history of the sport
In modern tennis, with much stronger competition, seasons should be ranked like this: 1. Djokovic 2015 season 2. Federer 2006 season 3. Djokovic 2011 season then a few empty spots, then all the others like 2021 Djokovic, 2010 Nadal, 2004, 2007 Federer And now possibly 2023 Djokovic as well :D
@@luisbustamante5479umbers do not say everything. I mean it says a lot but the way Djokovic, Nadal and Federer pushed each other is not matched with any other rivalry. Margaret Court might have won so many titles but I am asking myself if she needed that much mental strength and effort like Novak for example. I mean what he had to do to win some of his majors is unreal. Same counts for Rafa and Federer even tough Federer lost many matches against both of them.
