The Invisible Woods is a new channel created by me, Jim Johnson on March 7, 2021. I intend to cover a variety of topics in the videos. Most of these are in some way associated with the outdoors. Topics may include hiking, biking, woodworking projects, leathercraft and other craft projects. The idea behind the name, The Invisible Woods, is that the wilderness is something that people who love wild places take with them in their hearts and minds wherever they go. It may be invisible but it is there.
Isaiah55:6&7,"Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts.Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them and to our God, for he will freely pardon." Repent, receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior today. This is God's invitation for redemption, Jesus loves you so much and he is the only WAY to eternity.God bless you
This is an awesome broom! Thanks for sharing your techniques. We want to make a brook like this too, though we can't find the sagegrass/broomsedge, so we will probably use broom corn instead. We found a good stick for it and the cording too. I was wondering how you keep the tight tension on your cord? Whatever you use works really well for you. Thank you.
I so appreciate your tutorial, I live in the Great North, we have nothing but Pine Needles, can't wait to try this, big Thanks ! Oh and my Boyfriend gave me the nick name PineNeedle, and not because I make Pine needle crafts, he just liked it...lol
I made the spindle from a small oak log about 8 inches in diameter. I removed the bark and cut a "wide groove" with a chainsaw where the cordage wraps. I finished the spindle with power sander and hand tools. It works pretty well and only costs a little time to make. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Thank you for watching. Unfortunately I work a full time job and these things I do are just hobbies, so I can't make and sell them. I just checked on this channel after about a year and was shocked by the number of views of this video. I would have replied sooner if I had realized your interest in this. Thanks again!
Thank you for making such a thorough and informative tutorial! I gathered some pine needles on a whim and figured there must be someone out there who’d know just what to do with ‘em. Now I can’t wait to give broom making a go 😄
Thanks for watching. Sorry for the late reply. I would like to see a qualified "driver" take one of these for a spin!!! I will stick to making such things! Thanks again, Jody
