Corey you big pansy - the tech has been available for 10+ years. Most cruise lines do not want to implement it - similar to their failure to use lifeguards. We need to make the change.
What might be a good talking point is, when a Coasty retires, they are still under the UCMJ. They still receive "reduced pay for reduced services" as retirement pay is referenced. They can even be recalled for the UCMJ infractions. However, with all that, do they still have authority to enforce any federal laws if they see one broken as a retired member? BIG gray area.

Imo cruise ships should be required to possess and maintain a helicopter onboard in case of a man overboard. They can build opera halls and massive restaurants to please people, but won’t invest money into possibly saving a life

Please make a video on COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT, also actions that can be taken by seafarer when there is a breach in any of the clause mentioned under CBA. Who onboard is responsible for the correct implementation of the CBA.
Thank you for the suggestion! These are difficult issues as they usually involve more than one party and sometimes it is very difficult to get any relief if there is a breach of contract. There are a number of less than reputable companies working in the shipping industry so make sure you work for a reputable company.
