The wedding song, the guys with the long hat (Dervishes) is a form of worshipping in the Sufi Sect of Islam. The dervishes swirl and goes into a trance and the practice is still seen in Turkey, Iran and some parts of the Indian subcontinent. Mughal is the indian word for Mongol. They were central asian turkic people who conquered huge part of india. At its peak the empire stretched from Eastern Afghanistan, Pakistan, most of India, Bangladesh and parts of Myanmar. They were muslim and so its a big deal for an inter religion marriage with the Hindu Rajput princess. Since idol worshipping is forbidden in Islam so when Akbar accepts Jodha's condition its a big deal. The movie is an amalgamation of Facts and Fiction. Most of the characters and events are from actual history. Akbar was "liberal" by medieval standards and even made a new religion encompassing the best parts of hinduism, jainism and islam. The rajput princess did become the empress of india and mother of the next emperor. The part where the milk brother is thrown off the wall of the fort headfirst is also accurate. P.S. Some people will dispute it and call this movie propaganda because of their ideology , but most students and scholar of history will agree to the historical accuracy of the movie.
"Even I didn't notice that scene when she fanned the candles to turn off the lights. It was only when Michael pointed it out that I realized how hilarious it was. Michael seems to notice every single detail and always gets to the point of what they are trying to show-wow, he's really sharp! But I'm in the team of Ben and Isaac because I just enjoy the movie as it is, without using much of my brain. Ha ha ha! But think about it, guys. During the times of kings and emperors like Akbar and Shah Jahan, royal children were educated in lavish settings, often with private tutors or scholars in the palace. They would sometimes travel in grand processions on elephants, camels, or horses for formal events, showing off their wealth and privilege. This set them apart from common children, which is why, when schools eventually became formalized, uniforms were introduced to promote equality."
There is another part came so he basically wants to do but for some reason objection so they changed little bit so there is omg 3 in which just help a father or son with a very good subject
I told you to watch some movie and one of them is want you to watch bajirao mastani you can watch trailer and must watch and i am adding one more movie is called pravitra raj chohan Leading actor is Akshay kumar. He killed the evil without having eyes like like watch and you should
The gold he is weighted in was donated to the poor. Akbar was a charitable & just ruler who brought the country together under Mughal empire. His political & agricultural reforms were revolutionary. Even Elizabeth the queen of England wrote to him a letter praising him for his just & tolerant rule, the news of which reached England.
They weigh the gold with the king or anyone who js willing to donate and the same amount is then donated to temples, poor people,it still happens in many temples in India, its a tradition

Those are not set pieces. Those are actual historical locations. Real forts and palaces of kingdoms in India. However, most of the palaces shown in the movie are not of the Mughals (the clan of the protagonist, who were Muslim rulers). But rather of rajput (Hindu) kings from the state of Rajasthan. Although Mughals built extravagant palaces too - these are partially shown in the Movie.
